January 14, 2008 Ok..I have decided today is the day I get back to journaling....so here goes I hope I can really get back on track. Foods Cals Fat Carb Prot Turkey bacon, ( 3 medium slice (yield after cooking) ) 126 9 1 10 Egg, whole, cooked, scrambled ( 3 large egg ) 304 22 4 20 Mexican Blend Monterey Jack, Cheddar Quesadilla Cheese 110 9 1 6 Dunkin Donuts Coffee with Cream ( 24 oz ) 168 14 7 2 Cheese, Monterey ( 4 slice (1 oz) ) 423 34 1 28 Crystal Light ( 70 oz ) 0 0 0 0 Sara Lee® Mesquite Smoked Turkey Breast ( 4 oz ) 120 1 2 24 Zone Perfect Strawberry Yogurt Protein Bar ( 1 serving ) 200 6 25 14 Total 1451 96 41 104 Activities Time Spent Cals Burned Shoveling, snow, by hand 3:45 1167 weird this is I have had 1451 calories for the day and have not had dinner and I am verrrrrrry hungry right now maybe it is from all of the shoveling..... Breakfast: 4 oz. LF cottage cheese, 5 pretzel chips, coffee w/ h&h. Mid morning: Protein shake w/ 10 almonds Lunch: This concoction I came up with last night for my lunch today. Ground beef cooked with some onion and garlic, diced tomatoes, split peas, seasoned with cumin. I had about 6 oz. Mid afternoon: Protein shake, 10 almonds, 2 mini cucumbers. Later 4oz. LF cottage cheese. Dinner: Salad and a cup of chili. Even: cup of coffee. 50 plus oz water. One set of vitamins to go and evening exercise.

Hi janine, 7am: protein coffee 12p: 4oz pork roast 1oz cheese 3pm protein bar 5pm Chicken breast salad from Chick FilA 7pm vodka cranberry 8pm maybe a veg omelet exer: 2 mi on treadmill vits done! water 80oz so far! hope everyone had a good day

my day was ok, I've been doing the 14 day activia challenge to hopefully help get my digestive tract a little more... regular. seems to be helping so far. my day was ok, little too much snacking tho breakfast - steel cut oats with dried apples and walnuts, not enough protein, crashed and needed to balance it again (forgot to add peanut butter for extra protein) lunch - whole grain tortilla chips with taco meat and rf shredded cheese snack - cashews wasn't hungry for dinner so I had a handful of peanuts snack again - activia yogurt with granola water - 3 - 32oz bottles vitamins - all in exercise - none, too messy out to leave the house hope our New England Marchers were safe in their houses yesterday during the storm
