Walkers made it to....
Well March walkers, our journey has brought us 2005 miles from New York city to Palisade, CO!
We're so close to the Utah border we'll be there in no time! We've stopped in a little town with a population of less than 2600 people.
heres a few pictures of our quiet little stop

Palisade is considered the "heart of fruit and wine country" for Colorado many wineries offer tours if anyones up for one this weekend!
Theres also a fruit stand caled Alida's Fruits that offers tours of their jam facilities we could check out and see how its done. Maybe pick up gifts for loved ones as well

maybe we can plan to walk back to NY in the spring and celebrate the July 4th festivities in the Big Apple?? just a thought
What a quaint little town. I think I like it.
We are almost to Utah. That's a small state isn't it. We are going to make it. I just now it.
I don't know about walking back to New York. As my kids would say "don't count your chickens with a hatchet".
Let's get to California before we plan our next trip.
What do you think about Costa Rica? It has to be warmer then New York?
Have a great weekend, Rick
Stephanie,
Don't believe everything you hear about sunny California.
Today it is about 30 degrees and there is snow on the hills. It has been down to about 15 at night. Burr.
I just rembered, we are walking to southern California. It will be much nicer there and the fires should be out by the time we arrive.
Have a great weekend, Rick
