I am thankful for a renewed hope

Before I had this surgery I really felt that my life was somewhat hopeless. I felt that if I didn't make drastic changes my life would have been over in less then 5 years. The quality of my life has improved beyond measure. I can make plans for my future because I now know that I will have one. It is so nice to live a life with fewer limitations. I can shop in a normal size clothing store. I can feel like I can go out in public and not have disparaging comments directed towards me. I can walk miles with out sweating and huffing and puffing. I feel that if I can dream it, I can do it. I am so thankful that we had the courage to go down this road and I am very grateful that we have not had to do it alone. Life is great because I have hope. Rick
