5th stop on our walk.....

Settle in quick Marchers, we have a lot to cram in this weekend! We've made it to the city of Omaha, Nebraska! Theres so much to see and do here, we'll never sleep! Check out the cool dome at the Omaha Zoo http://www.city-data.com/picfilesc/picc17734.php and heres a nice picture of the Omaha skyline http://www.city-data.com/picfilesc/picc26754.php While we're here, theres entertainment and activities for all interests! With over 390,000 people living here, Omaha doesn't seem an overly expensive place to live. The median gross rent is $623.00 and is the home of Ameritrade Holding Corp (among many other businesses). Its also the birthplace to Fred Astaire, Malcolm X, Gerald Ford, Marlon Brando and Ahman Green (05 Green Bay Packers). We can have some fun at the Fun Plex amusement park, anyone up for the rollercoaster? http://www.fun-plex.com/ The Joslyn Art Museum http://joslyn.org/ Strategic Air and Space Museum http://www.strategicairandspace.com/ of the Zoo (with the worlds largest indoor rainforest) http://www.omahazoo.com/ We can also check out Monty Python's Spamalot, show thats playing at the Orpheum Theater this weekend! Thanks STYLZ for a wonderful job. I am loving Omaha and can't wait to get to Denver! Our October winner of miles walked was Janinne...I will be mailing her my small October participation gift!
