It's not a matter of can or cannot, it's a matter of will or will not, everything is a choice, choose wisely.... Ed Hillenbrand Are you going to choose wisely this long holiday weekend? What are our choices? 1. Can or Will we drink more or less water this 3-day weekend? 2. Can or Will we take all our daily vitamins or just some of them this 3-day weekend? 3. Can or Will we make good food choices, and try to not eat as much this 3-day weekend? 4. Can or Will we exercise or just think about it this 3-day weekend? I am going to hopefully make good choices in all our 4 goal areas. Holiday weekends usually have gatherings of friends and/or family, lots of food, and fun things to do. I hope you all enjoy your holiday weekend when we take this break from working and spend time enjoying ourselves and our friends and family. Yesterday was crazy for me. I did not get in all my water - only 3 bottles and my 2 DD medium unsweeted iced teas, I did make good food choices, I did get in all my vitamins and our office moved from one floor to another and I got plenty of exercise in supervising the move and unpacking my boxes in my new office. I did manage to take a quick 15 minute walk during lunch. I didn't have any nuts yesterday, but I did have my "Stephanie Smiles" NSA fudgesicle last night. I was so tired and aching from moving boxes, etc...I decided that was my reward! How did you do yesterday? So in closing....make good CHOICES this long holiday weekend - and push yourselves closer to goal. Enjoy your weekend and hugs to all.....Barbara

Hiya friend! I'm going to work on these four things this weekend. I haven't done well this week with vitamins or exercise. I'm headed to a lake in Vermont for Saturday and Sunday. It should be relaxing and fun! I'm glad you had your NSA fudgsicle last night. I do love those! Have a fantastic weekend and thanks for motivating us to keep losing. Speaking of losing...I actually saw 206 on the scale yesterday morning. I'm not sure if it's a fluke or not. I think I'll believe it when I see it again. It was not there this morning. 208 glared at me instead! Hugs, Stephanie

You enjoy your Vermont weekend. We keep thinking we might take a drive up to Northern NH this weekend to see if we can see a gathering of "Moose"!!!!! Take a nice walk this weekend with that good hubby of yours and that will count for exercise! hummmm....there are some other ways to exercise in the Vermont lake area !!!! That scale will probably see 206 by the time you get back! Barbara

Barbara, Thank you for your words of inspiration this past week. I have been trying to get past the 200 mark for months now. I see the scale slowly moving, down 1 lb. It will be slow but slow and steady should win the race, right? I have come to realize I was not eating enough and eating the wrong stuff when I did eat. less carbs for a while and lots more water and protein. Have a great long week end and thanks again for the support. I will try not to lurk as much and post more. Heather

Heather, I am so glad you are joining us and you WILL get past the 200 mark and I will to - we just have to keep plugging, use our tool we have been given and make the right choices. It is hard, but think how far we have already come and we just have a little ways more to go! I am glad maybe my words of inspiration have helped, I try to remember them myself when I am tempted to make a wrong choice! Glad you are changing from lurker to poster...we need you!
