Surprises....
Well this surgery always surprises me.. for the longest time I didnt even think I'd get to goal, I was stalled at 180lbs forever! All of a sudden the last 4-6 weeks weight has started dropping like crazy again-- not sure why?? Haven't done anything different?? After reaching my goal 170lbs on Thursday I continued dropping over the weekend to 167lbs now... weird... Im trying to figure out what has changed that my body would all of a sudden start kicking in again. I mean this is great! In 30 days Im going home to New Zealand for the first time in 6 years.... so wanna look awesome for it. I don't have any worry that I'll be one of those who has issues stopping the loss.... for now I'll enjoy the road... I mean leeway for regain is good right?
Darlene,
Isn't this a silly game sometimes. My nutritionist is the one that set my goal
and she set it at 196 pounds. When I logged into a weight tracker web cite,
it set my goal at 186. When I saw my surgeon and weighed 178 he told me I was
at goal. So I'm not sure what my goal should be. I sort of deceided that it should
be 180 pounds and then I'd give myself 5 pounds one way or the other. Well today
I was at 174 so now I have to reaccess that. The other thing I have thought about
was if I get to 169 pounds I would be exactly half of my former weight. So I don't
know what my body will decide to do??
You are doing great and I am excited for you that you get to go "home" soon.
Your S.T. Rick
Rick I was excited to see the 169lbs! Half my body weight!
Im just more perplexed I guess as to what kicked in and started my body losing again?
Hmm actually the more I think about it-- I started taking Metformin/Glucophage a month ago... for my PCOS-- maybe that is getting my insulin levels in check and working on the weight? *shrugs*
