Finally a Before and Almost After
Hiya gorgeous! You look wonderful and I'm so happy that you also feel wonderful. In fact, you simply ARE wonderful!
I'm right there with you waiting for 40+ pounds to leave me. It will happen eventually. Patience, as they say, is a virtue. It's just not one of my virtues!
Thank you for sharing your journey with us and being such an amazing part of my journey!
Hugs, Stephanie
Karen and I were talking about you yesterday at our support group meeting wondering where you were as we haven't seen you on the forum lately. Hope all is well with you. Thanks for your kind words and together - we WILL get to our goal or at least 40 pounds closer!!!! By the way, at our support group meeting yesterday they did say they would be participating in the "Walk for Obesity" in September. I will try to find out the date soon and let you know and hopefully you can walk with Karen and myself! Let's do lunch again soon....Hugs to you, Barbara
Barbara--You look MAR-VA-LOUS, darling! I'm with you in that 45 pounds to lose boat--we'll keep paddling! Maybe I'll plan a walk from my home in North Carolina to your home in New Hampshire and lose some of those pounds in between! Tee hee hee. (Wish I could find the time!)
I have enjoyed being on this journey with you. You have inspired me with so many of your thoughts, recipes and poems. You are such a delight and you truly have a calming internal spirit that reaches out to others to help them along the way.

OHHHHH Tamara, you are so kind and have such nice comments - thank you! You start walking from NC and I will leave NH and we can meet in VA somewhere and that should be good for about 20 lbs.!!!! I took the pugs (in the stroller) and hubby last night and we walked to town to get his evening cup of coffee from Dunkin Donuts. It was a 3 1/2 mile round trip walk and it felt so good to be able to do it and not be out of breath and sweating profusely! What a difference in all of us! Keep it up and we will get to those 45 pounds! Hugs, Barbara
