nop prescription need for colace...the generic is sodium docusate....it is simply a stool softner not a laxative...so it doesn't help move stuff out per say it just helps keep what's in there soft so it's not so hard when it comes out. My son takes miralax.

I actually found a fantastic vitamin several months back - they are reasonable in price, make for bariatrics and you can set up to have them send to you monthly for a discount. So this is what I've been on and it's been fantastic - I can feel the difference physically since I've been on them. https://secure.contactdesigns.net/cgi-bin/bariatricsupplementsystem.com/bariatricsupplemen tsystem.cgi I take: AM: 2 multi, 2 calcium and an add'l Biotin supplement (1500 mcg) Afternoon: 2 calcium Evening: 2 calcium, 1 b-trio sublingual, Biotin The multi has Iron - 60mg which is 333% of the daily value and B1 and B2. The sub B has 1667% B12 and 500% B6 It's also got folic acid. HTH, Tina
