Well, I don't know. It seems that I can't eat as much as others so I think my views are skewed. Like some people post that they eat 2 eggs or an egg plus other stuff and I'm full from 1 egg. Or I can eat 1/2 of a soft taco and nothing else. Your intake sounds pretty on par with the other Marchers though!

Ummm... my opinions.... Cut back the bread and tortillas..... Thats 2 slices of bread and 1 & 1/2 soft tacos in one day.... lots of bready carbs... Im not anti-carbs... but they are empty fillers, leave you hungry sooner.... perhaps limit yourself to one serving a day.... so if you plan on taco's for dinner, have your serving then... and skip the bread with the other meals.... I like bread, I buy nice whole grain dense bread every so often, but maybe have a slice like 2-3 times a week when I have it. More often I use a La Tortilla Factory Whole Wheat wrap and fill with veggies and meat (50 calories)....much better than having a slice of bread. Instead of eggs & toast--- have more eggs for breakfast, add some veggies & meat/ham or something. Skip the bread. For lunch have a salad with lots of romaine or spinach, and skip the bread. Also, I would cut back on the protein powder... you got 111g of protein, which is good, a lot.... I mean, maybe go to one scoop a day... you seem to be getting plenty of protein from food... adding protein to everything just add's more calories... especially when it's in conjunction with breakfast etc.... most people I know who still do a lot of protein shakes... they use it as a meal suppliment..... so they have a protein shake for breakfast... they don't have a meal, then their shake... if that makes sense... I don't know what the stats are on the specific things you ate though--- like what is the calorie content on your protein? Im not perfect, don't get me wrong... but you wanted ideas & suggestions..... to me, eating 1600+ calories is a maintaining diet... you'd eat that much when your at goal and trying to maintain a stable weight.... that seems too many calories (Just from what my program said) for the losing stage, while your trying to get to goal. I don't know *shrugs*

Thank you Darlene for yor suggestions...yesterday was the first time I have eaten that much since before surgery.. I was just a tad shocked when I totaled it up...made me nervous...I am definately gonna take out the carbs and put it only once a day if that...the toast from yesterday was unusual and the protein powder definately gonna cut to one a day...I had an appointment with my NUT on friday and she said if I want to continue to lose for my height and weight right now...I have to eat 1300 calories a day...but that seems alot to me what do you think...I liked it better when I was only doing 984 a day.....Anyways...thanks for the advice... jannine

Listen to your Nut. I am not a professional LOL My Nut. says' 1000-1200 calories. Just for me, I try to keep it between 800-1000. If your losing weight, it's all good... even if you feel like your eating too much... I mean compare what you posted to what you ate prior to surgery-- there is a HUGE difference....

Hi Jannine. I agree with what Darlene said. I personally try to cut the carbs but don't always do so great. I love crackers and just can't seem to skip them. I do think the calories are a bit much. I have been struggling with my calorie intake lately. I think I am getting too many for losing. I am getting in about 13-1500 a day. I am trying really hard to cut back to 1200 max per day. Its not easy since I can eat more volume and more variety. But I have 25 more pounds to my goal so I am willing to do whatever it takes to get to goal. You are doing great. Keeping track of our food really helps us to see where we can and need to cut back. Good luck & you can do it!!! Hugs, Robin
