WDYET??? *** Thursday ***
Morning everyone!!!!!!!!! Its almost Friday YAY!!!! Hubby has plans of going out and getting lost in the desert again this weekend, his Dad is out there camping. I think I'll have a quiet weekend at home.
Ive been having a sweet crunchy craving in the afternoons, so I tried those Quaker multi-grain honey graham rice cake things yesterday (60 calories) and they totally hit the spot! Im glad, it took away that head craving that I was fighting cause I wanted to go to the vending machine. Last night at the store I was on the search for something Hubby could have.. his vice is Peanut M&M's... I found some Sugar Free thin mint cookies-- taste just like the girl scout ones. 1 cookie is 30 calories.... so Im happy to find something that is low in sugar & calories and will appease Hubby.

Laura
wasnt very hungry today.. stuck mostly to liquids, heres what I had..
drive to work, drinkable yogurt
snack, drinkable yogurt
breakfast, drinkable yogurt
driving to the mall drinkable yogurt (good thing these are only 60 calories and low in fat!!)
lunch achiev one with extra 1/2 scoop protein, 1 cup strawberries
dinner 6 sushi rolls (ate half the rice around each roll so I wouldn't fill up too fast)
exercise: walked around the mall (had to return something, checked out vickys semi annual sale is still going on , bought a pair of pants at J.Jill only $14 couldn't pass them up, plus they're a comfy size 8 )
lots and lots of water as usual. noticing that I'm drinking way too much caffeine again. I use to drink so much caffeine pre-op, I see myself going down that same path again.. really have to put the breaks on it!!
got my vitamins in, does anyone take viactiv multi vitamin chew? they're like a little treat in itself!
Darlene, how did your chili turn out? I haven't made white chili in so long, sounds like a perfect dish to make during our cold spell we're having in New England... Did you thicken the chili with something? I think when I'd make it, I'd cook everything in chicken broth and then maybe thicken it with pepper jack cheese? I'll have to look, but I think thats how I did it.
I might be taking a wild shot in the dark here...but do you like yogurt?? lol
I'm jealous of the great deal you got on pants at J. Jill. I'm going shopping this weekend because I am in desperate need of pants. I only have one pair that fits and it is just too dang cold out for skirts (as I found out today...).
I haven't taken the Viactiv multi-vitamin chew. I'll check it out the next time I'm at Walmart.
good guess Laura! good thing its not bad for me! 4 of them are only 240 calories and 24 grams of protein I could think of plenty of other foods that would be more than that in calories and less in protein (ie. chips, popcorn, sweets... you know.. the bad stuff )
have fun shopping!! J. Jill is running a good sale, if you have one by you stop in! I was eyeing those pants around Christmas but they were on sale for $40, I've been trying to not spend a lot on clothes since the sizes are still going down!
thanks LuLu! I'll have to compare with my regular vitamin. do you know what its missing? my nutritionist was the one that introduced me to them, which is why I never compared before.
here is the yogurt I get.. they do have regular yogurt and drinkable yogurt. I buy the drinkable ones because I'm in the car a lot. this way I can grab it when walking out the door and not worry about spilling a cup of yogurt on me while driving!
here is the link for the yogurt!

Theres a few types.. They're all light and fit, but theres carb and sugar control, smoothie, non fat, crave control. I love the carb and sugar control one plus its 3 grams of sugar compared to the 6 or 8 in the other ones
