Well I just wanted to touch base with everyone. im doing good..although wish i had a cup of coffee..lol my daughter broke my coffee pot..and have to go get a new one..lol so this morning it was coffee from the cheveron and it just didnt taste the same. This morning I had a whole wheat english muffin for breakfast with some Light Cream Cheese chives and onions..it was pretty good. I am a month behind on my check ups..just told my hsuband I need to make that appointment but im getting sort of scared. I am scared that when I go he is going to tell me im not at the goal that he wanted to see me at. I have went from 210 to 145. I guess I am not going to know if i do not make my appointment. I will probably do that next week. Hey I wanted to ask each of you.. how often do you take your B-12 injection? My surgeon only has me taking it every three months..and its only 1/2 cc each time. Honestly I stay so busy with work, school, and the kids, I just feel that sometimes I need it sooner. I can always tell but I do not want to take more and it hurt me. My dad on the other hand takes 6000 mg a day..however his are taken in vitamin form, he doenst do the injections and he is also not a gastric bypass patient. I was just wondering. Thanks yall alight its off to hit the books talk to yall soon. Hugs and God Bless Missie

Wow! I think you're doing great! I don't see how your doc could be disappointed with that. For the B12 I take a sublingual tablet every couple of days. 1/2cc every 3 months doesn't sound like much to me. Plus, it's water soluable so it would be hard to get too much.

With the B12, RNYers don't absorb it if swallowed so there are sublingual tablets that you put under your tongue and they dissolve/are absorbed through the membrane there. Good luck Missie!
