Indigestion, Upset Stomach, Diarhea?
I think I found relief for these symptons accidently. I was eating salad at work one day, and the green onions in it gave me a few stomach cramps and some strong breath. So I popped an Orbit's S/F Peppermint Gum thingy in my mouth so as not to offend my co-workers with strong onion breath, and it took away my cramps and stomach churning. Since then I have tried it when my foods has been too dense and felt heavy on my pouch. It relieved all the discomfort. Yesterday I had taken pot roast to work with me with stir fry and it hit me hard, thought I was going to soil myself, the peppermint gum ended it within 5 minutes. I am so relieved to have found this out. If it wasn't for the gum, I would have surely had to go home and change my clothes. Hope this works for someone else too. I am stocking up it.
Nanette! That's awesome, killing two birds with one stone, bad breath and cramps! I've heard before where it's recommended for people when they're pregnant or have an upset tummy in general to drink peppermint tea.
Also, papaya enzymes are recommended for relieving protein sitting heavily in your pouch, or even for when proteins or such get stuck.

I need to get some of that! The last week or so all of a sudden, salad has been giving me those same symptoms. And I have been CRAVING salad. Its no fair! I crave something healthy for once and it makes me sick!
I had tried peppermint tea and SF Pep-o-mint lifesavers, but I ?HATE tea and the sugar alcohols in the lifesavers scare me. Gum would be perfect. Thanks for the tip!
