READY, SET, GO...GO...

The water challenge begins this morning....MONDAY. Keep track of how much water your drink each day and weigh today. Next Monday we will see if water DOES work! I will get a count from everybody and I will calculate how much water we drInk and how many pounds we lose as a group in a week. We will see if water does help us flush a pound or so of fat out! So in addition to drinking the normal amount of water you drink each day - take the "water challenge" and everytime you feel like eating something that is not a scheduled meal or snack - you must first drink at least 8 ounces of water to see if that curbs your appetite or not!!!! We may not lose but a few ounces, but at least we aren't gaining because we are making bad food choices. I think our pouches have been rather friendly now and don't growl as much when we put the wrong things in there - LIKE SUGAR!!!! Let's all try just a bit of exercise this week - even if you haven't been doing anything...try walking up a flight of stairs once a day - at work, home, the mall...wherever, or just jog in place for a minute to two....ANYTHING that can qualify as a bit of exercise. And if you are being really good and already exercising...still just add one minor thing a day to your routine - even if it is just an extra minute or two on the treadmill....whatever! Let's take a one-week challenge to see how much we can lose, how much water we can drink, how much extra protein we can eat, how many bad things we eliminate and LET'S GET MOTIVATED THIS FIRST FULL WEEK OF 2007!!!! This sounds like a great challenge. I am terrible with getting my water in. On Saturday I had to sit and sip, sip, sip until I got in 3 - 32oz bottles cuz I was dehydrated. I had been having dizzy spells for a couple of days and just got over a UTI so I know I didn't get enough water in. I hope I can keep up with the water this week. Thanks for getting this going.
