Need pep talks from fellow Marchers......
Hello friends,
I stepped on the scales this morning and my weight was 212. I have been struggling since October to get down to 200. I am extremely grateful for the 98 pounds I have lost since March, but I'm frustrated with the same 6 pounds I've been losing and gaining over the past 3 months. My lowest weight was 208--But it fluctuates daily from 208 to 212. I get in 80 to 100 ounces of water a day. I think I get in 70 to 80 grams of protein in per day. I have been walking at least 2 miles per day.
I plan to start journaling my food intake to monitor calories, etc. I know it's just a slump and that I will start loosing again. But I sure would like to hear from you guys and gals if you have or are experiencing what I am?!?
Thanks!
Tamara
The first step is to start tracking your food. Maybe you are not getting in as much protein as you think you are. You are doing good on the water--keep that up.
Because you exercise your body might need more calories.
The first thing to do is to track your daily food intake to make sure you are getting enough calories and protein and watching the carbs.
I am struggling with about 2 pounds to get into onederland. I hit 199 about a week ago but when I weighed a few days I was back up to 202.
I bet you are losing inches instead of weight. I think because we have lost a massive amount of weight in such a short time our bodies need to take a break sometimes to catch up with itself (if that makes any sense).
Good luck and Happy New Year
MJ
Thanks MJ for your encouragement. I am still losing inches which is perplexing when the scale doesn't show it! My husband just laughs at me when I get frustrated--he gently reminds me how far I've come (and how impatient I am!).
I plan on you guys keeping me accountable this year. I've developed so many good habits the past 9 months, but the old ones pop up every now and then.

Tamara...first off Great Job on the 98 lbs that you have shed...that is how much my girlfriends teenage daughter weights that is a whole teenager you lost...Wahooooo I was stuck at the same numbers that you are too...and I uped my protein...my nut said to do about 90-100 gms of protein per day and that seemed to kick start me again..but I know how frustrating it can be....I was there for 6 weeks....just keep up the great work and you will make it to onederland verrrry soon....
God Bless

Thanks Jannine,
That's the kind of things that I need to hear! My best friend told me to look at it like I had birthed a 98 pound baby in 9 months instead of gaining 60 pounds to squeeze out a 7 pounder! Tee hee hee.
It's cool to think I lost a whole teenager! Great suggestion in upping the protein. I'm going to track the amounts I'm getting. Life gets busy and sometimes I think I'm getting in enough when in actuality I'm probably not.
Thanks again!
Tamara
Thanks Steph!
Sorry that your in the same boat with me, but nice to know I'm not alone! Let us know how your journey goes....I'll keep you updated with mine!
I love your name.....Stephanie is one of my all-time favorites and Smiles has been my nickname since I was 2 yrs old.
Hugs back to you, Tamara
Hey Sweety Pooh~~
It's not just you....welcome to the club! I've seen others in our March group post about this before and I knew it was coming for me, too....it just hadn't reached me yet. Well, it has NOW! It's wonderful to have a forum where we can get validations for our feelings and frustrations.
Hang in there for me, and I'll hang in there for you!
