Antibiotics

Hello all: I have a question has anyone been on antibotics since WLS? for upper chest infections? I am going to call my doctor tomorrow but just wanted to see if anyone else has been on them and if so what kind. and did they make you sick? Thanks ! Teresa

You shouldnt have any issues with Anti-biotics.... they aren't NSAIDS... Hubby has taken anti-biotics a few times since with no isues. You might want to check and make sure they can give you smaller pills, or ones that can be cut.... as they tend to be big pills.

I was on anti's when I had strep throat a couple months back. I would recommend asking for a shot of anti's then a prescription. That way, the anti's begin working immediately and then you follow up treatment with the oral meds. I didnt get sick, but I had to take before food or it would have made me sick. Or was it after?
