What do you say when......
I have had serveral people tell me that if I lose anymore I will be too skinny.
My reaction is to smile and say yeah whatever you have no idea how much I weigh.
I have 60 pounds to get to my 1st goal and I think I will still be in the overwight catergory. If I lose 80 more pounds I will be at a normal BMI. I get some of the strangest looks from my friends and family when I say I have 60 more pounds to get to my 1st goal. I feel your pain. By the way I lover your new picture.

I just tell them that I have 12 more pounds to lose just to get out of OVERWEIGHT and 27 before I get to where my DOCTOR thinks I should be.
Then they usually say thats too skinny and I just laugh and say "Yeah, I'll probably look like Skeletor, but I'll be heatlhy."
Honestly, with the hanging skin and stuff, alot of us do look kind of sickly, but it tightens up for most people over time. I think the people making the comments think we will always look like that.

I hear that too. I am usually asked if I am going to stop losing now. Well...NO! I have a personal goal. Most people have never known what size I am or how much I weigh. Most people are shocked when I tell them so I guess they don't see that I need to lose another 45 lbs. I like hearing that I am "skinny", even though I am not skinny yet, and most likely will never really be skinny. I just smile and thank them for the compliment and then tell them that I haven't yet met my or my doctors goal and that is what I am working towards.
Keep going you skinny thing you!
Hugs, Robin
Same comments happening with me.
I think people don't realize how much we weigh... and USED to weigh...
When I tell people I weigh 175 pounds, they act like they can't believe it. I just wonder how much of it is an act... Maybe its just "conversation" to them...
I DO like the "skinny" comments, though. I thought I'd never be accused of being skinny! What a *** horrible *** thing to say! (sarcasm)
