Hi, just thought I'd start the morning off with a post and try to get us motivated if we need it. I know I needed it AGAIN this morning. I think it's the rainy days we are having. I had trouble wanting to get out of bed, and again first thing in my mind was "I don't want to go to the gym". Why am I doing this? It's like I'm trying to talk myself out of it before I try to even think of doing it. LOL But got DH off to work, took my morning vits etc and am dressed and ready to go. So thought I'd post and see who's up this morning and ready to work out!! I know some of you can't until later in the day, remember the time doesn't matter, as long as you do it! I really do need also to kick my scale to the curb. LOL I get on it every day and I've been at this same weight (or my scale is broken) for weeks again! I hate when that happens. I did feel when I got up this morning that I have lost. Can you feel when you lose? I can feel my body feels smaller. I got on the scale and it read the same. I was like UGH! moved it an ich thinking maybe it's the place it's sitting in, and I got .8 less, checked it twice. I'll take it. LOL Ok, off to the gym now and a few errands. See you all later. Good morning! I'm going to be putting on my shoes in a couple of minutes. My daughter's preschool starts at 9 so I'll walk while she's there. I hope I don't get drenched! I'm on a plateau too. I'm hoping it'll break after Aunt Flo leaves. A girl can dream! Have a great day!

Good morning, I thought that might have been my problem this month (Aunt Flo) because last month she kicked my butt and wouldn't let me lose a pound until she left. So I thought that would happen again this month, but no. I lost through that time and then have been stuck. I know I have been working out more, so I'm going to go with the assumption I'm replacing fat with muscle and we know it weighs more. I know I feel better and feel my body changing so I guess Im doing ok Hope you didnt get too wet on your walk. Good luck on breaking that plateau.

I went to curves but due to childcare responsiblitys and hubbys schedule only got in 1 circut - I did get weight and mesured b/c this is my 6 month aniversery - I am down 111 pounds. I have been stuck and up and down the last 2 weeks - I knwo there are resons but I am determind to lose one more solid size before I leave ft bliss in one month so my I am kicking it up back into high loss mode work out 2 times a day 3 protien shakes a day 3litters of water a day so far it seems to be helping - I am down to where I was before my ER visit and IV fun and my trip to alaska back to 261 - down from 265 the last few days, now if I can just keep it up and make it down some more preferably before next weeks pms LOL half inch off my abs and hips over the last 2 weeks so that is somethign hugs all danni 372/261/170

Good for you Danni! 111 lbs is awesome!! It's always good to have a goal and I hope you make yours before you go. I've been thinking of starting to work out 2 x a day, DH has a membership at the gym too but he gets to go like twice a month. LOL I usually go during the day and we do other stuff when he gets home. I was thinking yesterday and today I need to get him to the gym more, he hates wasting money and thats just what his membership dues are doing, wasting away! Plus he needs to work out more So I might see if he wants to go tonight. I can just do some treadmill maybe, just walk walk walk Have a great day!

Thanks for the post Ruth Ann - keep us all motivated! I am walking 1 mile at lunch - 2 trips around my building in downtown Boston and tonight is water aerobics at the Y. Will also walk the pugs (1 mile) after work - if it hasn't started raining. I go Friday for my 6 month check up (had the lab work done this past Saturday) and at the doctor's office they measure you for the first time since the day before surgery, so I am looking forward to that. This morning I was down 94 pounds since surgery day - how I am waiting for the Century Card and 100 pounds!!!! Have a great exerciseday everyone! Barbara

I'm sure that 100 lbs is just around the corner! You do lots of walking, good fo ryou! I have to go get my blood work done. I got a script from the doc last week when I went in, just havent planned for the test yet. Thanks for the reminder, forgot I had it! LOL Have a nice day

Thanks for the post. I'm going to work out after work and would rather do that than go to work ... ANY DAY!! Not to mention, my gym has Tons of motivation to get my butt out there and go.. Names are: Hunky dunky 1, 2, 3, 4..... etc.. I swear... the only trainers they hire are the kind I can't stop looking at!! LOL.. I'm aweful. However, if they motivate me to go.. so I can stare and drool... while I'm sweatin ... then so be it.. I'm sure they dont mind anyways!! LOL.... arent I aweful?! However.. joining Ballys has to be one of the most awesome things I've ever done! I absolutely love how I feel aftewards. Danni, I'm thinking of taking a kickboxing class now.. how hard is it? Amy

LOL on the hunks! Hey, nothing wrong with a nice view while you're sweating. Gives you good reason to sweat! Keep up the good work! I feel great after working out too.

Amy, I can totally relate to the cute trainer scenario! Mine is quite attractive. And so strong!!! This morning I was on the floor crunching my abs (I can't believe I actually said that. But I can't believe even more that I actually did it!) and as I got ready to haul myself back to my feet, I thought about how much nicer it is to be hauled to my feet by my cute trainer! Oh well, maybe I'll make my cute husband join me at the gym to pull me up from my ab crunches. - Stephanie
