First I would like to say that this is the best board. We have all done so well and are very supportive and for that I thank each one of you. I may have asked this question and the past and can't find the answer. How many cabrs, fats, sugar and calories are we suppose to have each day? I am eatting about 18 cards when I have sun chips and I thought someone once said that we are not suppose to go over like 20. Oops. What is your take on this? Thank you much for your response. Have a great day and if I don't respond to everyone, please forgive me I am reading throughout the day but am not really suppose to use the internet at work so I am thanking you all in advance.

Every program is different... it depends on your surgeon & Nutritionist--- have you asked where they want you to be? Our wants us to be around 800-1000 calories (Right now, eventually 1200), under 30g fat, 100-120g carbs, 60-70g protein.... no limit on sugar, but under 15-20g per serving. I would ask your Nut. Hi Dee, This is a good question. My nutritionist hasn't really set any food count limits for me yet. She simply tells me to eat 4-5 times a day and always eat protein first and of course stop when I am full. She also recommends eating my meals in 20 minutes. She highly recommends no or very limited carbs and then only if they are whole grain and after my protein. Oh and no sugar. I am sure my nutritionist will talk about the specific counts at our next appointment. Esp since I am now able to eat a greater variety of food. You did come to the right place for this question. I know you'll get great responses. Hugs, Robin
