5 Months Today...
Doesn't time fly by ladies????
I remember when we were all on this board posting we were waiting... 24 hours till surgery etc LOL
Now its been 5 months, my gosh!
Things are going great! Ive lost 113lbs, Im wearing a size 18R pants down from a 26W, and Im wearing 18/20 tops down from a 26/28.
I dont feeel so akward anymore... about been the heaviest person in the room... Ive noticed my self confidence slowly growing... talking to strangers etc...which before I would never have done...
Life is good

Darlene,
I also share the same surgery date. You have done great and
are a huge source of information and encouragment to all of us
"Marcher's".
I have lost 75 pounds since surgery and 114 since my journey began. I can't believe how much energy I have and how everyday things are so much easier.
Life is good and it's great to be a part of it.

Hi Darlene!
You have done great. I can't wait til I get to 113 pounds lost. I've lost 96 and I'm down to a sz 16 pant and 18 top (from size 26/28). It's kind of funny to me because my GOAL was to be in a sz 16 again, but I still have 50+ pounds to go! I must have been smaller than I remember at 18 pounds. It's been so long ago.
I know what you mean about the confidence thing. I can meet a strangers eye without looking away and I can even offer a flirty smile . I don't pull away quickly when someone gives me a hug (unless I'm at the gym). I never grow tired of hearing about the "new me".
Even with all that has happened in the last few months, I can honestly say that life "feels good" right now. I can be me!
Darlene... I also wanted to thank you for all of your support and good advice.
Congrats to both and ALL of us!

I also share the same surgery date... hard to believe how the time has flown! 5 months!!!
I am down 89 pounds. I was a 32 pants and a 4X-5X shirt. I am now a 24 pants and a 2 X shirt. I have 74 pounds to my goal but already feel great. I have never had a confidence problem, but I do feel so much more like the old me. I like myself better and I am enjoying every minute of it!
YEA for us!! WOO HOO!
