Update
I saw my surgeon in the elevator today. He was in his surgical scrubs. Then I remembered that Wednesday is his surgery day and I thought, "He's going to change someone else's life today."
I lost two pounds this week although I didn't lose anything last week. I guess I can't complain. Here are some things I've noticed lately:
---I can cross my legs now. I seem to do it a lot
---I can feel the pelvic bones in my butt. My partner has taken to calling me "Miss No-Butt"
---I can feel my ribs when I lie down. Cool
I've only got forty pounds to go until goal. And only twelve pounds before I'm no longer obese.

Me too with the crossing legs thing!!! I can't remember EVER when I sat with my legs crossed... there is still slight uncomfort, but I notice myself doing it more and more... it makes me feel like a woman! LOL
Also when im lying on my back, feeling my hip bones totally weirds me out hahaha
Im feeling pretty great!!!! 56lbs or so to goal for me, so Im working my way there....

I am feel great too...I hate sitting still now I just want to go go go! I have 38 pounds to get to my goal 45 to get to my doctor's the cool thing is I have 13 months to get there...I have this feeling, it's not going to take me that long! WOO HOO!!! 6 more punds to go and I'll weigh 199 I swear I'll be screaming so loud, you'll all say...Yep, that's Mimi she hit 199 today.

Congrats on your great progress! I'm feeling pretty good. I'm a bit frustrated at that silly scale that refuses to move in the correct direction. But I do feel much healthier today than I did five months ago. I often wonder if our surgeons truly understand what a difference this procedure makes in our lives. I hope they have some inkling!

I'm feeling excellent and more and more people are saying I look great! In fact my jewelry lady said that if I hadn't been with someone we both knew when she saw me out she never would have known it was me! Yippe!
I, too, am now a frequent leg crosser. It's been years!
My butt always hurts when I sit. I hear I need to build my butt muscles! LOL
I've got 78 pounds until my personal goal of 140 but I've already lost more than half the weight I needed to loose. Only 19 pounds until I'm finally under 200! Can't wait!
Lately my scale has been S-L-O-W in moving but I think that it's because I'm not eating enough. So I'm trying to increase my protein and general food intake. We'll see what happens.
