lactose intolerant anyone???

I have drank milk since I have been out of surgery 3/31. But here a couple days ago, I have gotten sick when I drink milk. Just a couple sips of milk and I am ready to barf. Has anyone had this? Patty

I have been that way since day one! I can't get near milk or yogurt or ice cream, or cream cheese but other cheeses are ok. I can do powder milk though, it is fat free and mainly water. They say it will get better...and i hope it will soon. Mimi

Hi Patty, I am just like Mimi. I can't drink milk at all. But I haven't been able to tolerate it since day one of surgery. I loved it before surgery. I am able to tolerate cheese and other dairy products now but just can't seem to get the courage to try the milk yet. It just made me too sick. Robin

I can't do milk it is to sweet for me - I do ok with goats milk for a tiny bowl of ceral but that is about it, can't drink that either. I do ok with cheese, cottage cheese, cream cheese etc hope this helps on the plus side our milk bill has gone down 4 or 5 gallons a month - I did not relize I was drinking THAT much milk by myself danni striving for moderation in all of life 372/268/170
