Poll: How many meals do you eat a day?
I typically eat 5 times a day. If I don't, I cannot get enough protein. My surgeon wants me to eat only 3 times a day. I suppose if I supplemented, I could do that, but I can't find a supplement that I can stomach!
I don't eat 5 times a day because I'm hungry. In fact, I never eat because I am hungry. I haven't felt hungry in the 5 months since surgery. I don't graze either. And I don't even have head hunger. I eat 5 times a day because if I don't then I cannot get enough protein.
So, how many times a day do you eat? And does it match what your surgeon wants you to do?

I eat 3 meals a day and do two protein shakes a day. Some days, sometimes too often lately, I'll have a snack during the day at work, like sun chips, or nuts. But I stick pretty much to the 3 meal a day rule my surgeons office wants. They don't push supplements, I chose to do those on my own because there is no way I can eat enough food to get a good amount of protein in.

I eat 2-3 protien shakes a day, 2 tiny snacks (1 oz beef jerkey type thing) and 3 very small meals with my family
my doc says 3 meals end of subject, the nut says 6 sm meals plus or including your shakes for 100 gram of protien a day
btw if you look you can find beef jerky that is 80 cals and 13 grams of protien per oz - a great cheap protien snack

it really depends on the day...but normally I do 3 meals and 2 snacks...but one is usually a piece of fruit..so no protein in it...where as the other is usually a protein bar. My doctor says 3 meals and NO snacks, mt nut says 5 small meals...I do what my day allows
I wish I didn't have hunger...I notice it when I go to bed....because i try to drink at night and NOT graze...the I get to bed and hungry so I grab more water, or a handful of nuts.
