### 08/09 What Did Ya Eat Today?

Support group last night was awesome, we had a cool presentation on the difference in portion sizes, but it was evil cause she bought in McDonalds etc to show their differences between now (Super size time) and 20-30 years ago, and the direct correlation to childhood obesity--- it was really cool.
Dinner was at Souper salad, I ended up just making a salad with spinach and various things on it-- it was soo YUMMY, but my first experience with a buffet style meal, and my plate I dished up was way too much even trying to be aware and cut back... the manager there is awesome and gives a WLS discount.
Breakfast: 1 egg scrambled w/ diced chicken, onion, red pepper & swiss cheese
Snack: 5-6 apple slices and 1oz pepper jack cheese
Lunch: BBQ Chicken (Approx 3oz shredded chicken w/ 2 TBS low carb BBQ sauce, sauteed onion & red bell pepper)
Snack: 1/2 banana & 1oz Genisoy brand potato soy chips.
Dinner: 4oz low fat cottage cheese with fresh diced pineapple.
Water: Not so good so far, but I will get to my 64oz by the end of the day!
Im trying out that new calorie counting website posted yesterday, it's nicer than fitday and I decided to pay for an upgraded membership for a month to see if it's worth it... todays totals are:
829 Calories, 65g protein, 25g fat, 93g carbs --- Im right on track today according to my nutritionists plan.
B: 1 c. mootopia skim milk (14 g protein per cup) & 1 cup lower sugar frosted flakes
S: 1/2 protein shake
L: Pizza Hot pocket with the ends peeled off
S: 1/2 protein shake
D: Smart ones fettucini Algredo w/ broccli probably only eat 1/2 to 3/4 of it
Water has been good today for the first time in a week. I have had 50oz so far with plans for the other 14 oz before the night is through.
For breakfast I had 1 oz. reduced fat-cheddar cheese, 3 reduced fat Townhouse crackers and 4 strawberries.
For lunch I had 1 oz. reduced fat pepper jack cheese and a Carb Control strawberry and cream smoothie.
Dinner was 3 oz. of curried chicken salad. It was delicious!
I'm on my 4th 20 oz. bottle of water today.
I need another protein kick later this evening so I plan to have 1/2 c. fat free cottage cheese with 1 packet of Splenda and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.

I haven't checked in here in quite a while but it's cool to see how everyone's portion sizes are changing.
Breakfast: 4 oz Dannon Activa yogurt with 1/4 c. of Back to Nature Apple/Strawberry granola.
Lunch: About 1/4 c of left over Turkey noodle casserole (yummy! will post receipe!)
Dinner: Small baked potato with 1/8 cheese and 3 tablsp of sour cream.
I've got 48 oz of water in today and am still working on it.
