### 08/01 What Did Ya Eat Today?

This morning at 5.45am we got a phone call (Not that unsual cause we are up at 5am every morning anyway)--- it was EJ's Mom (Lap RNY 3-4 years ago). She had gone to work, not had breakfast or packed any lunch. She was calling because all they had at work was junk... she had bought a packet of ruffles, some nuts, a chocolate cake thing and a diet coke... she was sitting there, and decided she just could not eat this--- she called to tell us she was throwing it out! Good for her!!! EJ and I told her we would stop by on the way to work and bring her breakfast-- her work is on the way for us. So we made extra eggs this morning, and packed her a lunch of a SF Pudding cup, and a taco (Shredded beef, Taco shell, lettuce, tomato, salsa & sour cream). We delivered it for her. She called later to thank us, and she wants to make a deal with us.... she will pay us $15 a day (Way too much for a gastric bypass patient-- but she wants to pay us for our time also) to make her breakfast and lunch for work. She has such a hard time eating healthy--- so if EJ and I drop off breakfast, snacks and a healthy lunch she would be much more on track! Im actually really excited, I love to cook for people... I think we will try it for a week and see how it goes. I know she doesn't take her vitamins... so I think our pack will include bottled water, vitamins, breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks. I'd love to do this for her, I know she is struggling with regain. So anyway the point of this--- I need to mix it up a little--- I need good breakfast/lunch & snack ideas!!! Dinner last night we ended up going to a mexican place, and got a seafood stuffed poblano pepper w/ lobster sauce-- it was stuffed with lobster, shrimp & scallops + some veggies. We shared and ate very little of it... got weird looks from our server LOL Breakfast: 3/4 Egg scrambled with diced pork tenderloin, onion & a little shredded cheddar cheese. Snack: 1/2 packet of those evil crunch peanuts--- All gone now! YAY Lunch: 2oz Shredded beef, sauteed onions, salsa & cheese with 1/2 a Wasa Cracker Snack: Jello Brand SF Caramel Pudding Cup Dinner: I have to go grocery shopping tonight, and am going to make a big batch of chili cause I thawed hamburger and didnt end up using it..... not sure what Im gonna eat yet though. Water: Ugh only about 40oz, I'll work on another bottle while grocery shopping.

I wish you could do that for me. I get so bored with my meals. That is a very nice thing you and your husband are doing for her. You will be blessed. breakfast: Protein Drink --yummy snack--protein drink lunch- 2 oz lean turkey breast with slice of cheese (1 oz) snack-sf fudge icecream bar dinner--2 oz. pork steak broiled (LEAN) maybe 1/4 cup of brussel sprouts--I doubt I will be able to eat that many so I will say 3 brussel sprouts and 3 small yams (from the can) water-20 oz plus 32 oz of green tea (the little packets that you put in water). I will drink another 20 oz. of water when I go swim later this evening. I have one more vitiam to take this evening and it is my multivit. I will take when I go to bed. have a good evening

lol If you were in AZ then maybe I could have done that for you... maybe I should start my own WLS lunch delivery business hehehehe.

I would definately sign up for it! It is so hard to remember to pack everything every day and to spice it up. I just wish I was more adventurous in my tastes. I am too pickey to really go out on a limb and try new stuff. But I am working on getting better. B: Protein drink S: chocolate chip cookie L: 1/2 frozen dinner (the weigh****chers baked ziti) S: 1oz colby cheese D: 3 oz chicken I have had 44oz of water so far and working on finishing my last 20 oz for the day. I forgot to take my vitamin today, so I will take it when I get home.

How kind of you to do that for your MIL...... I didn't have the pork chops for dinner last night. I made an old Weigh****chers recipe of Taco Soup. Very easy to do.....2 cans FF turkey chili, 2 cans chicken broth, 1 can black beans (rinsed), 1 can diced tomatoes, 2 diced zucchini, 2 diced yellow squash. Here's what I've eaten today: Breakfast: chocolate protein drink Mid-morning: 1/2C cottage cheese Lunch: 1 1/2C taco soup with grated cheese Mid-afternoon: 1oz beef jerky (this stuff is becoming addicting!!) Dinner: the pork chops from yesterday.....I put them in the crock pot this morning Tonight is my weekly weigh-in at TOPS....... Laura A.

For Breakfast I had 1 4 oz carbs and sugar control yougurt..... Lunch: bout 2 oz of the Carne Asada left from last night with some freah salsa and ff sour cream Dinner I am making my daughter and husband pasta.. so I will just have the meat and sauce with it I have had 76 oz of water today and my protien drink and all my vitaims.. and worked out at curves for 30 minutes I feel like I did well today Jeani

The last few days, including today, I just haven't felt like eating anything. My calories have been way down and I need to get re-motivated to eat again.... Breakfast: 8 oz lite yogurt Lunch: Bumblebee tuna sensation in Tomato & Basil flavor (very yummy) snack: 2 pieces of laughing cow babybel light cheese snack: 2 pieces of bittersweet chocolate (4 pieces is one serving) Dinner: TBD - but probably 3 oz of chicken snack: either beef jerky or a protein bar since my protein is low for the day I'm doing GREAT with my fluids - I've already finished 60 oz and working toward 80oz. Need to take my calcium tonight but I've taken all my other vitamins. Hopefully I'll be more motivated to eat tomorrow.... Elizabeth
