Just curious if anyone else feels a lump in the lower throat. Kinda like before you cry. I have had this for a few days and it seems to get worse before i go to sleep. It not pain just feels like my pouch is moved into the throat. I have also had a few things get stuck and i have not have the foamies in a month or so. Anyone else experience this feeling at all? I have also been under a lot of stress with work and b/f. Could stress cause this to happen?

Teresa I have not felt any lumps in my throat, but I did want to ask...what are foamies? Is it like almost a vomit but not really? sorry to ask such a dumb question. Trish

It sounds like you could be developing a stricture. Have you called your surgeon about it? Jan Marie

A stricture is a narrowing somewhere that makes it hard for food and fluids to pass. I have not had one but by my friend did. They do not go away. You usually have to have a scope passed down to your stomach and they enlarge the stricture back to normal. It sounds awful but they give you medication to make you sleep and usually one that makes you forget the procedure. Please call your surgeon and have him check you - it could get worse to the point that you cannot get anything down and it would be better to treat it before it gets to that point. Hope this helps and that you get some relief soon. Jan Marie
