Weekend of Wows!!

So, I've had a whole weekend of wows.. and I HAVE to share!! Ok, so on Friday, I went clothes shopping because ... well.. my pants are starting to fall down. I went to Lane Bryant and was very very scared to try anything on... I found out that I am now a 22 in shirts (down from a 2. I am a 22-24 in pants (down from 28 LB stretch or 32 in some). I am a 38 C (down from a 46 C). I wear a size 8 shoe now (8.5 before surgery). Everything surprised me.. I'd put it on, and ... It would fit! I could have went with a smaller size in one of my shirts... and wish I would have now.. but ohwell. The bra surprised me the most.. I have worn a 40 or above as long as I can remember. Yes the 38 was tight, but ... it made my boobs look great!! I'll have to post some new outfit pix later... Friday night, we went to Dixie Stampede for Josh's birthday. I knew that I wouldnt be able to eat all of the food, and my hubby gladly took what I couldn't. Afterwards, we went to Funspot, the best Go Cart park in Orlando. They have multi level tracks n such.. The last time I was there, I was newly dating Josh.. (5.5 years ago). Even then, I needed a seatbelt extender because it wouldn't go around my big belly. I was so nervous going thru the line.. when I got to the front... I asked if they still had extenders... and was told that they did. I told him I would need one. He said he'd bring it to me... to go grab a cart. I pulled the straps all the way out before I even got in. Then I put the straps on.. Imagine my surprise when I got in, the belt snapped, and I had to pull in about 6-7 inches of slack in on it!!! I was so excited!! I only rode it once though, cuz I got sick.. lol. Saturday, we went to Disney. We did 3 of the 4 parks, and walked for 14 hours in the parks and then another hour to our car. I rarelly needed to stop, (mostly I was just VERY thirsty - I had 64 oz of tea, and 3 24 oz bottles of water). I was able to ride EVERY ride, no belt problems and usually I had alot of room to spare... I'm on top of the world.. blisters n all!

Congratulations on all your WOW moments!! Its a great feeling to have them I went to the Avenue on Friday and just for kicks I tried on a pull over linen shirt in an 18/20 and... IT FIT! Needless to say I had to buy it I also fit into a 14 pant (yup had to buy those too ) congrats again ((hugs))

You go girl! Sounds like you had a BLAST!!! I cant wait to go to Disney again in February. =)

Wow those are great WOW moments! You must be flying!! Sounds like a really fun weekend. I'm so happy for you. I hear you on the bra thing. I love wearing a smaller bra and having one that is even a little snugger, these new smaller ones make my boobs look nice! Just a shame when the bras off they go South! LOL But hey, I'll take lookin good when they're strapped in!! Keep enjoying those WOW's... take care.

What a wonderful weekend!!! I hear you on the bra thing - I don't EVER remember being smaller than a 38DD and pre surgery I was in a 46 DDD with extender so more like a 48 or 50 now I am in a 38 DD and some of them are getting a bit looser - KNOW WHAT is really cool?!?!?! YOU CAN NOW BUY BRAS FROM VICTORIA SECRET if you want that is - they start at 38DD - I keep hitting LB sales racks, got a few from walmart and a couple of nice ones off of freecycle but the idea is just to cool to me hehehe Oh my Gosh I just keep thinking about rides - that is just to exciting - Oh Amy huge happy HUGS my friend danni

Congrats! I'm still too scared to go clothes shopping. I really shouldn't be, all of my clothes are too big, and those are the ones that I haven't been able to wear in years. So, I guess I'll have to go after I get over my sprained ankle! Congrats on your wows! You must be on cloud nine! Kim

Thank you so much everyone!! I am on cloud 9!!! I can't wait until 8/7 (2 weeks away). I really really really want to down 100lbs by then. The doc will only think its 90, but I've lost an extra 10 lbs of presurgery weight. ;) WOOOO HOOOO!!
