Mix Up That Protein Drink...

Here are some smoothie ideas... this is especially good if your like me and can't stand protein drinks/powders.... using unflavored protein, the fruit completely mask's the nasty protein after taste/flavor: ----------------------------------------- Lemon Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie 1 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt 1 scoop unflavored protein powder 1/2 cup lite orange juice 1 & 1/2 cup strawberries 1/2 cup crushed ice 1 T. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. lemon zest Combine all in blender until smooth. -------------------------------------------- Colossal Cranberry Smoothie Serves: 2 1 1/2 cups lite Cran-Raspberry Juice 2 cups frozen mixed berries 1 1/2 cups nonfat vanilla frozen yogurt 2 scoops unflavored protein powder Put all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth --------------------------------------------- Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie 8 oz skim milk 1/3 small banana 1 tbsp natural peanut butter 2 packets of splenda 5 ice cubes 1 scoop unflavored protein powder (Could use chocolate if you wanted a choco bananan PB smoothie) In blender combine milk, banana, peanut butter and sweet n' low. Add ice cubes and pulse.

WOW They sound sooooo good! I want to try them, I realy do but fruit makes me Sssoo sick! Maybe one of these days I will be able to. I read your recipes and think they are great! Thanks for sharing Amy I : horse:

awww you cant do fruit? That sucks big time! Ive never had an isue with fructose, so fruit smoothies are fine for me.
