WHAT TJE HECK!?!?!?!?!
HEy marchers I had surgery on march10/06 I have lost 53lbs I dont know if this is good or bad! on my surgeryday I weighed 277 I now weigh 224 I think my weightloss is stopped or something I dont know what to do to get it back I exercise and drink my watter I dont know if im eating to much or to little I stay away from sugar and snacks I am so frustrated I could really use some perspective and support do you guys have any LIZZEY

53 pounds is great! I had my surgery just 5 days after you and I'm down 60 pounds.
You don't say how long it's been since you've lost weight. Also, do you measure yourself? Many times when you don't loose weight your measurements change as your body adjusts to the drastic things going on.
Also, keep in mind that when you exercise you loose fat but you gain muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat does so while it looks like you are not loosing, you are in fact re-defining your body type. If you go to a gym see if they can do a body fat anaylasis for you.
Your concerns about eating too much or too little need to be addressed with your nutritionist. Only they are going to know what's right for you and your body.
Hang in there! You are doing great and you have made wonderful progress.

See - your clothes are fiting looser. That is a great indicator.
Danni gave you an example of what she eats. Here is an example of what I do. I'll just go to show you that everyone is amazingly different and different things work for different people. In the end I believe that you'll find what works for you by using trial and error.
I get between 400 - 600 calories per day right now. Between 50 - 70 grams of protein per day.
My general menu consists of:
4 oz yogurt for breakfast
1 - 1.5 oz of a protein meat for lunch
1 - 1.5 oz of a protein meat for dinner.
I'll have a snack of a cheese stick, sometimes popcorn, sometimes peanut butter.
At least once a day I try to have a protein drink - either in the morning or evening.
I'm ashamed to say I really don't exercise outside of vigorious house cleaning several times a week.

how much are you eating? I hit 900-1000 calories a day and 110-130 grams of protien most days plus 4 to 5 litters of water and minimum 60 mins of cardio plus weights, yoga, pilaites, curves, ball - whatever else fits in that day. I take thurs as a light day - walking only and sometimes some yoga streaching and sun as a day off per the trainer at the gyms instuctions.
now that works for me but I think most people on this list are not eating that much nor getting that much protien or work outs - a couple are but not everyone by a long streach.
I eat a protien snack every few hours b/c there is no way I coudl get my protien in otherwise - an ounce of beef jerkey, one cheese stick,1/2 oz almonds, protien powder in 1/2 cup plain non fat yogurt. plus lots of water.
I would be glad to tell you what works for me - my nut and doc don't agree on snacking vs 3 meals a day
