I almost 10 weeks out and I am down 50 pounds.
My first goal was "One"-derland, which I have made and my next goal is to match my drivers license weight - 180.
I am out of plus sizes and am in a 16 misses now. I went shopping (or more like looking) this weekend and was amazed and how cheaply I would be able to dress myself and what a huge selection there is in regular clothes. It almost made me angry!!
I also had to reintroduce belts into my wardrobe.

I'm about two months and a week out. I've lost total so far of 82 lbs. 24 of them were the month before surgery. I started out at 345 pre op, at surgery was about 321, am currently at 362. Unofficial goal is about 170. It would be nice to go lower, we shall see. Let's get there first! I would like to hit 250 soon!! I think I will run around dancing when I see 249!!
I started out in size 34w, 32w, tops 4x or 5x depending how they were made, Pants 30w or 32w. I am now wearing pants 22/24, most tops 3x. But I do have one 2x I bought that I can wear nicely. And had a cool wow moment today at Walmart. It seems Catherines sizes run differently than places such as Walmart, larger, so sometimes when I have been trying on stuff in regular stores the size I thought I was per Catherines were still too small, But! today I saw this shirt I liked and I took in to try on both a 22/24 and a 26/28. Tried the 22/24 and it FIT!! Just fit, but it will be perfect in a week or so. But I couldnt believe it! OMG! I dont remember ever wearing a 22/24 top. It's just unbelievable! I tried on the 26/28 to see how that fit and it was definately too big! So I took the 22/24. I'm hoping in two weeks it will fit good. I'm having a houseful of ladies over for a PartyLite brunch. I wanna look trim in my new small top! LOL Feels kind of good too, seems my body is starting to balance out a bit. I am/ was very broad shouldered and bigger on top, but my pants are 22/24 and now I'm fitting in the same size tops. It will be great some day whichever size I end up in to be able to buy sets and have them fit right!!
Hubby gave me a lil wow moment today too. He was pulling up behind me when we got home this afternoon, he had a class so we had both cars out. He got out of his and said, "Wow, hon, I saw you getting out of the car and my mind was like, who is that person standing by Ruths car." LOL He didnt' recognize me for a sec! LOL That was way cool!!
We are all doing so wonderful, its amazing to see everyone's progress!!
you are doing so great!! and your hubby not reconizing you is a major wow - I think the moment that truely started my wiegh loss journey was being on the cell phone with tim as he was getting ready to deploy - I mean they were in the gym locked down with their wepons waiting for the plane to get here to take them to iraq latter that night ready - anyhow I walked in and could not see him and his comment when he saw me was theres my fluffy wife - it was not ment to be hurtful but it modivated me to get in gear - I lost 50 pounds the year he was gone - he came home I got pg and it all came right back - so when I was not longer pg I got on the list to have wls b/c I knew I could not get it all off.
we are all doing great - I can't wait to see where we are in a year - a bunch of smaller people for sure!!
I'm down a total of 75 pounds (34 before surgery and 41 since surgery). I'm currently wearing 24s but they are beginning to be loose. My goal is to weigh 250 pounds by the middle of August. I should be able to lose 25 more pounds by then. I'm also looking forward to size 22. I can remember wearing a 24, but I can't recall wearing a 22. It's been that long!
Everyone is doing incredibly well. I'm so proud of each of you, and also of myself!
Keep MARCHing forward!

I will be 14 weeks out this next Wednesday and I am 48 lbs. down. I am 28 lbs. from the high end of the weight for my age and height, and 42 lbs. from the low end. I started this journey as a lightweight, 90 lbs. over with several severe comorbidities which are almost now all resolved. In the year before surgery, I lost 40 lbs. by not taking insulin and having dangerously high blood sugars. Pretty sick, I know. This surgery saved my life.
Size-wise I was in 22s and now wear straight 16 pants and L-XL tops. I have regular stalls and then will drop steadily for awhile. A big set-back for me has been that I broke my foot three days after I returned to work from surgery and then had to have surgery on my foot, so I have not been very active. I hope to have the boot off the foot soon and resume my Curves work-outs and walking and pick up the pace a little. But even this pace has been good and I am pleased.
I am so grateful to have been blessed with this opportunity. Thanks everyone for sharing.
My surgery was March 2. I have lost 75 pounds. 28 before surgery and the 47 since surgery. I have gone from 289 to 214. I went shopping this weekend. I now fit into a size 18 pants and 1x shirts. I also no longer need a wide shoe. I tried on 20 pairs of shoes today. It was so exciting to like a shoe and for it to actually be there in my size. Didn't find any shoes to buy, but I had so much fun trying them on.
