I am just over 9 wee...

I am just over 9 weeks post op and have been doing great except the last few days. I haven't been feeling good and not interested in eating at all. It doesn't matter if I eat or drink and it doesn't matter what but I get this icky feeling in my belly. I don't think it feels like a stricture would. I haven't vomited but sure feel like I could. I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience or am I just freaking out and being a worry wart. Thanks in advance!

Hi Tammy, I can't say I've felt what you are feeling right now. I do have days where I don't feel like eating or drinking anything though. Could you perhaps be getting a stomach bug? It's been going around. Feel better! Tina http://www.wls.tinakulesa.com 315/268/140

Hello, My surgery was day before yours. I havn't had that feeling. Right now, I have a cold and I've lost my sense of smell and taste. Do you think it may be constipation? I hope you feel better soon. Nadine O.

Loss of appetite really isnt a sign of a stricture.... Physically not being able to eat or drink is... if you eat very little and get full like on a bite or two of soft foods, if your puking a lot, of can't keep water down--- then think about a stricture. I force myself to eat, I have no appetite... Im not interested in eating.... It will come back... believe me, you will end up wishing you felt like this again LOL being sick lately made it worse, I didnt want to eat or drink anything. I wouldn't be overly worried unless your really having eating problems. Darlene
