I have also been using the Nioxin and it is working well. But I also take Biotin 2500mg daily. This vitamin is supposed to help with skin, hair and nails. I have been lucky in the sense that my hair grew back after a month of losing it (month number 4) and it is growing in very pretty. I have never really had a "headful" of hair but what I have now is working for me. Good luck to you. I will need to try the mink oil too. I will try almost anything. Good luck to you!!!

Congrats ! This is a wonderful moment in your life that you will remember forever. Not it hasn't been easy but without it would you have lost this much weight? I know I wouldn't have.
My year anniversary is tomorrow. I am so grateful for this experience. I truly know that I am better off now than I would have been without the surgery.
I am very proud of you.

Corgimom, congrats on the loss. Our anniversaries are the same. What a ride!! I went to my PCP the other day to get my blood levels checked, and thought that I'd step on the scale and sneak a peak. Only 4 more lbs lost in 2 months! -145 total, so can't complain. Must be a plateau time for us. I can still detect changes in my body shape, so at least something is going on. Change what your not happy with, and keep on truckin. Best of luck. Let us know how the visit goes.

Well today is my one year anniversary. It has certainly been an experience. I am traveling to my surgeons office this morning. I live about 2 hours from him. Would I do it again - yes, has it been easy - no.
I am down 127 lbs. and I know I should be thankful of that, but I am a bit disappointed that I have been stuck with NO weight loss for the last TWO months. Everything seemed to be going well and bam! I hit a wall.
I know that most of my problem is of my own making - the usual, lack of exercise, not enough water etc. I've been good about not eating any sweets and sugary items, but have been eating too many nuts and crackers. Well better go. Good luck fellow marchers and keep hanging in there.

I just wanted to let you know that I feel your pain. I rarely have a bm and have tried lots of stuff and still have not found a good solution. I hope you find something that works for you.
