Topic: Surgery Scheduled
The plastic surgeons office just called and said they have scheduled my surgery (pannilecutomy) for Sept 8. I was hoping it would be the August 25 date but thats ok, its still getting done. Its Sept 8 11:30am Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. I have to be there at 9:30am. My pre op appt is next Monday with Dr Durham Smith. I am excited but a little sad cause I have to wait but, why should I be sad. In a month I'll have all this tummy skin gone! Hugs Angela

Topic: My Flabby Tummy Pics
Throughout my journey before, durning and now before my panni it has helped me by reading other peoples profiles and looking at their pics. So with that in mind, I have posted my before panni pics at the bottom of my profile. It doesn't show anything but my tummy as I would be divorced if I posted naked pics. My hubby would go ballistic on me, lol. Just sharing, although the pics are pretty scary if u get grossed out easy don't look! Hugs Angela P.S. I am still canning tomatoes so if I don't reply right away don't feel I am ignoring u! Wish I was doing anythign but canning...Oh I am so lazy!

Topic: Pannilectomy Date, tentative
My plastic surgeons office just called and gave me a date that could quite possibly change, August 25th. 3 Fridays from now. I am having what u call a pannilectomy. They are not going to tighten any abdominal muscles as with the abdomionplasty. They are only cutting off the loose skin. They told me that if I wanted the muscle tightening it was $6000, no thank u very much. Call me a tightwad, but I'll be happy with what my insurance is paying for. I am not picky. They're supposed to let me know for sure by Monday or Tuesday. It will be at Baptist East in Louisville and the surgery takes 1 1/2 hours. Not as long as my gastric bypass at least. I hope to come home that night but I believe they said I'd be in there one night. I'll keep ya posted. Hugs Ange p.s. I will also be having a umbilical hernia repair.

Topic: RE: A Hernia NOW????
I saw him at 6 months and he said I was fine. Had blood work done at a year and it was sent over to his office and they said it was all good. I was fired from my job 2 months after my surgery because "I cost the company too much" so I haven't had insurance. Spending money on the doctor was out of the question-until I could get insurance again. So last week I called the office and told them what was going on, and I have an appointment on Friday. Thanks for responding! Becky
