It is slow here.....we need to get people talking again. I think we are all at a difficult junction in our journey. That might be why no one is around. I have no idea how much you lost but I am sure you do look wonderful. I wouldn't stress over the 40 lbs as much as concentrating on eating healthy and staying healthy with excercise. Who needs to be "normal" I have never been a normal weight. Don't stress over the numbers, stay off the scale, it's not considered a good form of excercise!! Take care, Jean

I know my calorie intake is too much and am working on that. I still eat very little but get hungry more often then I used to.

Hi Ange, There is a great web site called (Makemeheal.com) that has lots of info about plastic surgery. You may want to give it a look as it has wound care and creams that make the scar heal so it's barely visable. I heading in the middle of november to have a "Tummy tuck and contouring" done myself. Good luck and heal quickly ! You look wonderful, Bless You! Julio

Have you increased your calorie intake? If so lower it until you reach your goal.

Topic: A Little Slow Here
Hi all. I think I need support now more then a year ago. Weight lose has slowed down to almost nothing. Have not gained but the scales go up and down with the same 4 pounds. I am told I look really good but still have about 40 pounds to lose before I am considered normal. Some days I want food all day long. I try to ignor the want because I know I don't need. So how is everyone else doing?

Topic: Today
Today I hit the 18 month mark. I'm not exactly where I wanted to be by now but I am within 10 lbs, and that's OK. I had never posted any pre-op pics because I didn't have any digital ones. Well I scanned a couple, they came out a little pixelated but you can get the gist of things, so you all can see where I came from. They are at the bottom of my profile. Thank you all for the support and friendship, it means so much to me that you all are so open and sharing through this whole process. TTYL Toni

Thank u. The drains are more aggravating than anything. This surgery was no where near as painful as I thought it would be. Good luck, wish u the best! Ange
