Topic: RE: What are you eating??
Kel,
You're not "mucking" anything up, you're doing just fine and look great.
I don't count calories, I mainly track protein, which is what my doc wants. But I eat a lot of tuna and chicken, he's not let me have red meat yet so I don't do ground beef, although I would really love to have a good old juicy hamburger one of these days. I don't do bread or pasta either, the one time I had a few noodles in some soup, I got the worst pouch pain so I won't be trying pasta again. And I do a bar or smoothie several times a week when I've not gotten enough protein in a day. I've averaging between 60-75 grams protein and about the same for ounces of water. I really need to up my water.
Remember, different surgeons have different diet and exercise plans, so don't worry too much about what someone else is eating.

Topic: RE: AFRAID I'LL STOP LOSING
Autumn;
Don't worry everyone looses at different speeds. I have been out 5 months as of the 30th of this month. I have lost 72 lbs and 55 3/4 inches. As long as your doc is happy with your progress you should be too. They also suggested watching your inches more than your weight. Keep your chin up and just keep going and tell yourself you are loosing at YOUR speed. Good luck.

I get about the same amount of calories, protein, and water as you. I occasionally have bread and pasta, I have fruit and vegetables everyday, and my main source of protein is fat free dairy. I love cheese, milk, and eggs! My weight-loss is doing fine, too. I also exercise everyday, maybe that is why I can eat this amount and still lose.

Ohhh yea, this is so me! I know my friends are tired me say I don't see any loss!! I've gone from size 18 tight jeans, to size 12 loose one's but when I look in the mirror I still see the same old fat loser chick. As someone else said I may end up seeking professional help on this one, cause I know when I 'feel' fat&ugly I overeat. When I feel cute'n'such I do well on my eating.

I'm coming up on my *gasp* six month mark and my Doc and Nut have said since I'm still losing I'm doing things right, but I still worry (obsess).
I'm eating what seems like "normal" amounts of food...not much junk, except HC fudge bars...no bread or pasta....lots of fresh fruit and veggies, mostly ground beef for protein...oh yea, and I'm still doing a morning shake most days. I'm getting 70-8-g of protein, 70 or so oz water and 900-1100 calories a day. I'm doing the fit day thing religiously now.
I just talked to someone who's date was close to mine and she's getting 600 cal per day and still doing soft foods. This kinda scares me, am I mucking this thing up?
Anywho, figured I'd check in with other's "near" me and see...what are you eating in a day?
