Topic: RE: Finally down fifty pounds!
Thank you for the reply. I get about fifty grams of protein in per day. My doctor does not allow protein drinks only real food.

Topic: Hello fello Marchsters..new to this board
Hello!
My name is Dawn. I just discovered this message board..have been posting on the Tennessee boards.
I am down 101 lbs since my surgery March 8th,2005. I have been on a plateau for a while now but I know it will start back up again.
I had to have emergency gallbladder surgery this past Monday. That was scary and more pain than I ever want to feel again but doing much better now thank Goodness!!
I was wondering tho if anyone else here had to have thier GB removed post-op? And did you notice any significant appetite changes afterwards? It seems the past couple days mine is back with a vengeance and it scares me a bit. I want to reach my goal and it worries me that if my appetite stays the way it has been the past couple days, that might be a problem. So thought I would ask.
Anyways.. hope you all are well.
God Bless!!

Topic: RE: For all thinking of joining CURVES
HI folks... Just thought I would give my Opinion....I joined curves after my surgery and started working out there about 1 month later. Curves in my opinion was a great starting point for me...someone that had never worked out in her life...and was scared to death of showing up at a "regular" gym only to be stared at or ridiculed. Curves got me started. I lost 81 pounds since March 1st, and have decided to cancel my membership with Curves now (a $50.00 fee), and have now joined a "real" gym that offers so much more...(pool, jacuzzi, sauna, weights, tread mills, other equipment and lots of classes). I am now saving 10 dollars a month, and have gained a 24 hr service gym. 6 days a week. I work steady night shift and love going to work out at 3 am when I cant sleep on my days off!. I have gained so much more stamina...But I do have to admit...Curves for me was a great place to start. I just felt I needed more than what they were offering after I got used to working out and am actually enjoying it now.

Topic: RE: How many pounds between sizes?
"THEY" say that it is 10 pounds (I've always heard that), but that was so not true for me.
I think what the previous poster said is true. Plus sizes have to lose more to go down size-wise. I have noticed that since I've gotten into "normal" sizes, my clothes get bigger faster.
