Topic: RE: What are you eating??
I feel that same as you. I was 5 mos. out as of yesterday. I am down 76 lbs. and losing steadily every week. I eat basically what I want, and I am having a little trouble wanting to snack. Apparently it is a coping mechanism. Cheri

Mine is high, too. The doctor is checking me out. My gallbladder was removed when I had my surgery. So far, nothing has been done for it and I have no ideas that would be helpful.

Claire,
From your profile, it looks like you weighed about the same as me on the day of your surgery. Even tho I have lost more pounds, we are wearing the same the size now. That must mean that you carry your weight well, which is more important than what you actually weigh. Your protein, exercise, and water look fine to me - keep up the great work!

Oh, Jennifer, I am sorry to hear about you needing more surgery. I hope you aren't in too much pain for the next week and that you recover quickly. Good luck!

Topic: Extreme Hunger and Gall Bladder???
Okay, it has been confirmed that I have gallstones and sludge in my poor little gall bladder. I go in for surgery on the 8th of September (Thank Goodness, I am about ready to rip the sucker out myself)...Lately I have been extremely hungry - but I am not sure it is real hunger...an intense, gnawing pain - I never feel satisfied, always feel hungry...Is this gnawing due to my gall bladder??? I hope so - if it is, I am going to lose weight for sure after surgery due to not feeling this "hunger pain" that never goes away...
Gnaw..Gnaw...Gnaw...

5 months post-op lost 65lbs as of last week.I think my weight lost is slow considering I got sick in july and had to go in the hospital for two week.I have read some of the post and see there weight loss is outstanding than me. I try eat more than 60-85g protein ,drink plenty of water and exercise 3 time a week.Don't get me wrong,I love what I see in mirror size 18/16 which is pretty good.So I guess I'm doing good.

Topic: RE: Still drinking protein???
Well I'm one of those oddballs. I never did the protein shake thing. My nutritionist just told me to eat high protein meals and leave it at that. That's exactly what I've been doing. I'm down 96lbs now and it has slowed some in the last month but i am still losing about 12lbs a month.
None of my blood work or anything has come back abnormal either.

Topic: RE: -10lbs in 5 days, total loss 80lbs 5 months
Hi Myra, in answer to your question, no I don't feel hungry at all. I eat very small bites, very slowly and I get satisfied. Sometimes I do get "head" hunger but I just drink something and I am fine. Congrats on your weight loss as well, that is great! I was so excited the other night, a friend gave me many 2oz cups to use to measure! Now I feel like I am doing something! Good luck and let me know how it goes!

Hi Angela,
Congrats on your break-through!!!
Just a question ... going back to measuring and limiting ... has it left you hungry at all? I'm in a bit of a stall too, although I'm happy with my weight loss so far (107 lbs. total). I have to admit I've been "eyeballing" my food rather than measuring, and have been feeling I'm eating too much lately. So ... I'm going to try your method and see if it works for me too. Thanks so much for letting us know how it worked for you!

Thank u Becky, I hope to be at goal before Christmas, but IF and I don't think this will happen, but IF I keep losing more than 10 pounds a week I should be there alot sooner!
