Hi Angela.... I am having issues with how I'm losing weight too, but in different areas. It can be discouraging. I have lost 80lbs as well and my stomach is losing slower than the rest of me and I'm extremely self conscious about it. Then theres the boob issue ... OMG! I had gorgeous big boobs before surgery..... now they are still big, but sagging so bad I don't even want my boyfriend to see them. Hopefully our bodies will even out more as we lose more weight. Keep your chin up.... your doing great! Scarlette

Hi Angela, I don't have your exact "problem," but a variation - most of my excess weight is in my belly area. So guess where I have been showing the most change from weight loss? My FEET and my BOOBS! I was never big in the chest, about a C cup at my highest weight of 368, but now at 270 I am wearing my old B cups and they are too big! I don't know what the answer is, I have no idea how the body decides where to drop weight, but if anybody has any wisdom about how to exert some INFLUENCE, I'd sure love to know how Good luck, Angela! Topic: RE: Poll: Month 5 How Was It?
Hello Melanie; How good it is to see other Marchers succeeding. I weigh and measure myself every 26th of each month and this month I now lost 72lbs. and 55 3/4 inches. I am now at 219. I weigh less than my husband, 3 kids, and my own mother. I am not complaining. I tried sending you a picture to let you see my length of hair. It is short but it is still coming out especially when I wash my hair. It gets all over me and my towel. So if I loose a lot it won't matter to me. With my short hair who is going to notice? I haven't done much excercising. Not anyplace to go to around here. People that I see in church and around this tiny town have all complimented me about how nice I am looking. Believe me I am eating it up and enjoying it. Melinda 293/219

Claire, I too have only lost 65 lbs since my surgery, but I'm pleased with the outcome so far and try not not to focus on numbers, but how I look and feel in my clothes. I'm down to wearing 12-14 size clothing. YOU'RE DOING GREAT!!!! Karla

Topic: My Fat Legs and Butt!!!
Ok, I am losing good but I am concerned about my rear and my legs. They have always been the biggest parts of me. I have lost 80 pounds since March 24 and I can tell in my face, shoulders and stomach. But my hips and legs still look hug to me. To me my legs are gross. I just want to have knees again. Not gorgeous legs, but legs smaller than they are now. I am so scared I will get to my goal of 150 and still have huge ugly fat legs. I started this journey at 313 and am now at 233. Did any of u have big legs and then lost them? Do u have normal legs now? I know thats a stupid question but this is something that bothers me, lol. Thanks Angela Open RNY 3/24/05 313/233/150???

Topic: RE: Still drinking protein???
It is hard to get in enough protein without them. Especially if you really stick to the size of meals that Dr.s suggest. So, for now, I'm sticking with that breakfast drink. Haven't been able to stomach the powders since the second week from surgery so I have a daily Isopure (premixed). It is a little sweet but the grape is tolerable and 40 grams of protein for 160 calories and 0 carbs can't be beat. Alison

It is so strange!! Sometimes when I eat, I sneeze repeatedly and sound as though I have a terrible cold for about 30 minutes. It is the strangest thing I have ever experienced. Cheri 235/159/135
