Your surgery was the day after mine. I have been following your posts and havent seen anything from you lately. I had been wondering if you broke your plateau. Evidentally not. Wow..since May. That would really bum me out too! I guess I need to look at it like I couldnt have lost these 72 lbs without the surgery and hopefully at least keep them off!!
Good luck to you! I hope things get better! Keep your chin up! With all the exercise that you do Im sure that you are in alot better health than you were 6 months ago!!
Keep us updated!!

You really deserve a pat on the back! I hope to make it to the century club too, but my weight loss has slowed down to 5-7 pounds a month as I near my goal. Hopefully I will make it before Christmas. The most difficult thing for me now is to remember that even though I look "normal" I can't eat that way. I crave veggies and salads and have to push the protein first policy. Congrats again on the great accomplishment!!!

Hi Patti
I feel your pain also....6 months, 105 pounds..doc said that this was normal. At this time weight loss is gonna be slower. One thing that I have seen though through all these plateau's the weight might be slow to none but the inches are still creeping off. Don't give up it is happening slowly but surely. We have to be strong....vent if you have to we are all here for ya!

I hear you. I lost 56lbs in my first 10 weeks and have not lost a pound since the middle of May. My surgery was 3/16. I had no idea I could have a 4 month plateau in my first 6monhts out of surgery. I feel like i wasted the best time for losing weight. I hope yours breaks soon.

Hi Heidi
It used to bother me Greg was losing way faster than me, but he keeps pointing out that, not only do men lose faster, but he had farther to go than I did. The funny thing is, right now, we have the same amount of weight to lose. I think he'll reach his goal first because he does more exercise than I do. When you do a lot of walking for a living, the last thing I feel like doing when I get home is exercising.

Topic: RE: PMS questions!
Lol, well he told me to eat 3 meals a day consisting of 2oz. So I got me some 2oz cups from Sams Club. He said only eat meats, cheese, eggs, peanut butter. Meats baked or grilled. He said to drink 64oz or more of some sort of sugar free liquid. I get in more than 100oz now. NO snacking. This was the biggie that hurt me. I love popcorn and used to eat the butter light or I would grab a chip or a cracker every now and then and it hurt me. I slowed down to losing only 10lbs a month. I started doing what he told me to do on August 25, exactly what he told me to do and lost 10 pounds in 5 days, then my blasted period started and I haven't lost in 2 days now, but I will soon as its over. I do walk some but not much.
Hope this helps.
I am down 83 pounds and it was down 70 on August 25 when I started doing what I was supposed to. I also keep a journal of what I eat and I journal for when I weigh in to see what my weight loss is for a week or a month or whatever.
Hugs
Angela

Hey Angela:
I think it's the weight loss, too. By the way, exactly what DID your surgeon tell you to do? I have been stalled for 2 weeks now and it's making me NUTS. I had surgery 4 days after you did...
