Topic: RE: This is getting old!!!
Hi Patti,
You know they say muscle weighs more than fat and you stated that you go to the gym and you're very muscular and tone. I've not exercised at all since I've had this surgery and I've lost 94lbs but my muscle tone and sagging skin is aweful. Yes I look great in clothes but take them off and it's like, run for this hills because my body is scarrrrryyyyy. I'm going to need a total body lift because, and I admit it, I'm so lazy. I'm gone 11 hours a day working and the rest of my time I use for resting, cleaning, and doing things that make me happy. If I were you I would be happy with the weight that you've lost and knowing that you are probably very fit and you have lean muscles that are TIGHT!
Keep up all your hard work. It will all pay off in the end.
Hang in there,
Deborah W.

thanks!! it's fun, but at the same time i can't really afford to get a lot of new things so it's frustrating. i need to go thrift shopping, last time i found a lot of 14/16's but wasn't quite there yet, so i should be able to find some good stuff this time.

Topic: RE: Six Months TODAY!
Greg,
I love reading your posts. I think you have done an awesome job and yes you do look younger, better, and stronger than you probably have in years. I know I do. ....I can do things I haven't been able to do in years. When my daughter saw me about 3 weeks ago she started crying because she couldn't believe how much weight I've lost. I showed her friends that came with her pictures of me from this last Christmas and she blurts out, "that's my Mom, I don't know who this woman is!" What a trip. She asked me what it felt like to be in my body? I was like WOW. I said well I don't know dear. What does it feel like to be in your body? What a trippy thing to ask, huh? I'm sure your daughters reaction will be every much if not more shocking to you than mine was to me. I just stood there and cried with her.
I too need to get a picture updated on this board. I have only put one on here and I think it was when I was 1 or 2 months out.
Anyways Greg, I hope your visit is as awesome as you are!
Take Care,
Deborah W.

Topic: RE: Another Hair loss question....
Thank God, it has slowed down. Now in the morning after I've washed my hair there's a few strands of hair in the comb instead of a whole ball. After, my hair is dried and I style it I don't find myself picking hair off of my shirt for like an hour anymore. I might pick off 4 to 6 pieces of hair now. I did switch to protein enriched Pantene Hair products and I am still taking 2 Biotin supplements a day. I do believe that they have helped me through this.

Michelle,
You look awesome! I didn't know it was you until I went to your link and saw your original pic. What a change, for the better. Don't you just love trying on new clothes now? I use to hate to have to go buy clothes because I hated the way I looked in almost everything I tried on. Now I can't get enough.
Anyways, you look marvelous darling.
