Hi Janice We Marchers are still here just lurking. I lost 93 pounds on my journey and I want to lose at least 35 more pounds but just seem stuck. What does your diet consist of now? I was happy with my weight lost but I felt I was looking so old. Any advice will be appreciated. P

Topic: RE: Allergic Reaction
Just the other day I saw a post on the main messageboard about this very phenomenon after taking some liquid multivitamin - and some responded saying that it was not allergies, but something called NIACIN RUSH. I found some articles about it on the web, such as here: http://www.articledashboard.com/Article/The-Niacin-Rush/25985. Apparently this is a common reaction with liquid vitamins. Who knew? I would never have thought of this if I'd not seen the posts on the main board. Some folks there said if you read the fine print on your liquid vitamin bottle, it warns of this "niacin rush" thing. Do you think this might be what you experienced? Just thought I'd pass the info along.

Topic: RE: March 05ers - Roll Call! How are you doing???
Gosh, I hardly make it over here so sorry for the delay'd update- Looks to me that we all have stopped living here and are out living LIFE! My all time highest known wt was over 260lbs- I quit looking when I knew I was pushing the 300's preop day 247 goal 150lbs currently 145-148lbs Thank you God for this second chance at life!!! I am scheduled for plastics tomorrow- I am having post mastectomy reconstruction of both breasts ( I got too small for the temp implants placed last year!!) and abdominoplasty. I love fitting in- noone notices me because of my size anymore. I'm just a regular gal. I like that other people hold doors for me, pick up things I've dropped and are just so polite. I can eat what I want- in small amts. I was diagnosed with stoma failure so I can eat more than most rny's and I rarely dump. I do have a problem with grazing at times but I have picked up a healthy exercise habit. I am worried that with my surgery and the limits post op that I will not be able to exercise and lose this addiction that I have. I'm gonna work hard to remember those good feelings that working out gives me. I'd have no regrets. I'd do it again right this minute if I had to. My biggest fear is gaining the weight back. I do worry alot about what will happen if. I know now that if God forbid I do regain back to a morbidly obese person that I will pay out of pocket to get fixed. (I know that sounds crazy to worry about but I do!!) I hope you all are out living & loving life, cause I know I am!! I'm gonna learn to water ski this summer. This winter I went sled riding for the first time in 20 years and had the time of my life. I outran my kids. I could go on and on..... Hugs to you all! Please pray for me & my recovery! Amy

We are moving less then a mile from where we now live in The Villages, Florida. Dr Jawad in Ocala did my surgery laproscopic and I am down 120 pounds. I was 307 and now I go back and forth from 183 to 187 and back. I need to lose 35 or 40 pounds more but still feel great. I like an occassional M&M and do overeat but feel so bad that I don't do it often. I have stayed off carbonated drinks as instructed but crave them once in awhile. Our new house is 3 bedroom and the one we are in now is 2. There is just my husband and I but since we moved to The Villages we get loads of visitors from up north.

I am here. Moving to a new house. Close on January 12 so busy busy busy. Down around 120 pounds and feeling great. Have a follow up (My surgeon wants us to get lab work and see him every 6 months) on Weds. I have not been good about taking my iron pills and terrible about taking in extra protein. I am sure he will not be pleased with me. I may have lost 5 pounds since last time. His associate told me last time to lose 40 pounds.

Hi Janice, Can you believe how quickly time has passed. I stepped on the scale this morning and have officially lost 120lbs. I have seven more to go to goal and I'm actually starting to believe I'll get there. I did have my doubts as I seemed to be stuck at 115lb loss for the longest time, over 5 months. Hope your holidays were merry and bright. Toni
