I have the Easy Shaper and I love it. You actually get a total body work out. I am sure you will enjoy!!
Topic: RE: Where's the ooompf??
Wow! What terrific posts you have today. I haven't been on in awhile and it looks like I missed alot. I was lacking ooompf as well, I know that part of that is because my blood pressure is still SOOOOO LOOOWWW. On August 26th I was admitted to the hospital for a couple of things, one of them being my 64/35 blood pressure! It is staying at about 80/65 now, which is better but I think it makes me lethargic. So today I started looking up gyms/fitness centers! Winter is coming and hiking the trails for exercise will frequently be impossible. Hopefully joining a gym will give me some ooommmpphh! At this point I have gone from a size 20W to a size 10 so I would actually be satisfied with that, if I get to an 8 or a 6-well then YAY! But I am so proud of the NEW me and feel so blessed to have had this miracle surgery I just kinda feel like I shouldn't ask for much more!
Have a great weekend,

Topic: Yippee...6 month checkup...
Hi everyone....
I had my 6 month check up yesterday and I feel much better about things. I had been worried that I'd been losing too slow, but my doctor said I was right on track. I've lost 85 lbs. I've been in a stall lately, but all of a sudden I've lost 4 lbs in two days. I've lost 100 lbs with my pre-op diet. My nut told me to eat a little more..... never thought anyone would tell me that... This surgery has been so beneficial healthwise. I have so much more energy, I'm taking fewer meds, and I discovered I actually enjoy going to the gym.... How scary is that! Take care all you fellow Marchers! Scarlette

Topic: RE: OMG, has my plateu broken????
That's great to hear that you finally broke through. I can imagin it must have been frustrating. My loss is slow, only a couple pounds a week but I have a hard time staying motivated with the exercise component of the program. Pain in my upper back is hampering my motivation and sometimes my mood.
I've lost a total of 96 lbs, 15 pre-op and 81 post (surgery 3/21/05). I too am an apple shape and was facinated to hear about "how" we lose. Lets me know that even though things are slow, there's still hope to get to goal, which is another 41 lbs away.
Thanks for sharing your journey.
