Topic: Finally Onderland!
Well I finally made it to onderland. 199.8 but I will take it. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to have this surgery. I feel like a burden has been lifted. Not just the burden of 106 lbs but the confidence I now have that this will be successful. I've failed so many times in the past with conventional diets that this is a new feeling. Good luck to all my fellow Marcher's corgimom 306/199/135?

And YAAAAAAAAaaa thats a good thing. I had my surgery March 1st, started at 310 lbs, and I am now 9 pounds away from joining the century club! Come on! yaaaaaaaaay me! Wooo Hoooo! I am so greatful and happy I have been given a new lease on life. I feel like I'm living my life backwards compared to my friends...they are all slowing down now, after doing all kinds of exciting things in their younger years. And here I am hoping to get out there and do some of them for myself now... Ice skate, inline skating, play baseball, go out on dates.....I have only ever been in 3 long term relationships....the last ending 8 months ago.... I'm so excited to get my new life started! I love you all! Thank you so much for your support and guidance. Your ideas and your shoulders to cry on. BluEyedVixen Loosing in London (AKA Lorrie)

Doesn't just give you goose bumps!!!!!!!!!! It was so hard for me to give away my nicer outfits to a "large" friend.....you know the yo-yo syndrome we've all been plagued with all of our lifes. I'm taking down all of my 22 and 24 blue jeans, shirts & coats to the Salvation Army. I economized with my shopping and shopped at the "Goodwill store". It supports a noble cause and I get new "clothes" at a bargain! I'm wearing my husband's blue jeans!!!!!!! Mine fell off of me last week. I've gone from 242 to 174. MY bra went from a 42 -44D to a 36C and I broke down and got me some nice Bali bras & matching panties! Only 68 pounds but gosh, I'm loving every pound even if I'm at a plateau. I got an exercise bike last week and now up to 10 minutes @ 20 -25 miles per hour. Pre surgery, I could hardly do 5 @ 10 mph. My energy level is out the roof and it's hard to adjust to not wanting to sleep all the time. It's startlingly to have my husband complimenting me...the gad never did when I was fat unless I prodded him. I got even the other day by getting the last clean pair of his blue jeans! What's even nicer, is a man was actually flirting with me the other day! Talk about an ego boost! Becca Holton, KS www.konzapugs.com

I used to love my milk shakes, too! Thought this would be a great way to get in that dreaded protein. WRONG! I stopped in town to get a SMALL shake and drank about half of it and the horrible cramping, waves of dizziness and weak in the leg**** me. Almost didn't make it the 13 miles back to the house and in the BR before the explosion hit me. Cured me quick of a shake even the small ones! I can, however, eat about one scoop of "regular" ice cream. I get the low fat, "sugar free" vanilla and top it with lite diced Delmonte snack size canned peaches. That's my treat! Lynn, I hear you! All of my credit cards are maxed out! I live at Kohl's and just about every clothing store these days. I went from an 18/20 to a 6/8 in less then 6 months! Go figure! ( no pun intended, LOL) I haven't been this weight in a long time. I hardly think about food anymore> Instead just like you I think about where I am going to shop next! Aren't we having a blast! Isn't it fun to clothes shop when things fit and are cute? These days, instead of being consumed by food and sitting around, I find myself consumed by shopping and being active . Congratulations on your success! Meg

Topic: Went Fall/Winter Clothes Shopping!!!!
Hi All, I was so excited yesterday. My 16 yr old daughter and I went out to an early bird sale at Kohl's. I went shopping for some much needed fall/winter clothes. A month ago cleaned out my closet and drawers of all my old clothes. I placed a huge lawn & leaf bag into good will box, which left me with nothing. It was habitual to go to the plus size section, but quickly realized I had already dropped down to the regular womens dept. I kept picking up larges in all the tops. When I tried them on,they were swimming on me. I had to get all medium tops. I knew I was in size 16 pants in the middle of the summer which are big on me. I tried on the 14's to find they were also big on me. I am in a size 12, moving down to a 10!!!! I have never, ever been below a 14 since I was a teenager. My daughter was having fun picking out things for me. I thought she wanted them for her, but said "no mom it is for you." I still look at things on hangers in the small sizes and can't grasp that I am in that size. I could have went crazy with all the nice things I can wear now, but had to refrain from over buying with knowing I am not at goal yet. So I only bought 3 pairs of pants with 5 tops to mix and match and 2 casual sets in a velour material and sweatsuit material in a medium. I also had to buy smaller bra's and underwear. Sorry so long, just so excited!!! Last I weighed myself was a month ago which i was at a 75lb loss. I know I dropped more and will weigh in on Tues. I think I am at about 90 lbs now. Lynnd 252/ goal 145lbs
