Congrats on reaching onderland!!! What a major achievement! I know what you mean about the fear of not being successful because we have all "failed" diets and programs before (well more like they failed us, whatever). So it's great to see others and myself really realize that we are doing great and we are successful in using the tool the surgeons gave us. Way to go!! Trisha -106 lbs

I'm very happy with my progress so far. I'm six months out, down 106 lbs, and I am feeling better about myself inside and out. I still have about 90 lbs to go to meet surgeon's goal for me. But my life has changed in so many ways from where I was pre-op. I am leading the Phoenix Obesityhelp chapter weight loss surgery support group. I participated in my first ever walk-a-thon Saturday (Walk from Obesity). I have a new job, new car, new clothes, etc. God has blessed me immensely in so many ways this year. He's amazing. I haven't tried that brand, but in the past I have tried other diurectics during PMS. They made a little difference, but not much. Trisha -106 lbs

I saw this medicine advertised on TV the other night and I am going to call my surgeon to ask about it here in a few, but I would just like to know if any of u take this durning your monthly visitor and does it help? I am 4 pounds from the century club and now PMS strikes! AHHHH! I haven't actually started but I got the symptoms rolling in. I know its coming. I feel bloated, I have the munchies and I am cranky cause I can't muchie! Anyone else like me who doesn't lose but gains water weight on their period ever try this with good results? Topic: RE: My First Dump!
Hi Melanie! You and Heidi and I are surgery triplets! I had my first dump about 3 weeks out on eggs, which I still cannot eat. Milk and milk products give me grief, but not every time. Sometimes, the soy meat substitutes also give me trouble. The thing I hate is, one time, I'll have no problems, and the next time, yikes!! Still, I wouldn't trade the surgery in for anything. I can live my life now without being afraid. Linda 280/190/160

It will be 6 months tomorrow for me. It has been amazing. My knees don't hurt any more. I'm not snoring at night, which, I suppose, means I don't have sleep apnea. I'm only getting up once a night instead of every hour, so I am sleeping better. I have gone from wearing 3X uniform pants to wearing an L. People who haven't seen me in a while don't recognize me anymore. Despite the fact I regretted it for the first week or so, I am so happy I had the surgery! My weight loss has really slowed down this month, but I don't care. I am happy where I am. And it's so much better to be able to say I am 30 pounds overweight than 120 overweight!!! Linda 280/190/160

It's a slow roll but a roll none the less. This experience has surpassed my wildest dreams. I'm down 81 lbs since surgery, 96 all toll since my starting point with the surgeon. So far have gone from a size 24 to a 16 (with no butt anymore pants are a little baggy in the back). I still have 36 lbs to my surgeons goal and 41 to my personal goal. I have a much better outlook on life, my self-esteem has skyrocketed, and my self worth is better than it has ever been. Not to mention that my health is better than it's been in over 20 years. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat! Would I recommend it to anyone who needs it? Definitely! Toni 267/171/130

Hi everyone :hello: I have lost 90lbs as of this morning and I am so grateful for this surgery. I feel like I have my life back again. I have lupus and had high blood pressure, but now my blood pressure is normal and I've gone off all my meds for lupus except two.... I have so much energy I am bouncing off the walls. My only regret is that I didn't have it sooner. I'm just starting to get into 14's..... I have never been a size 14 in my entire adult life. Its great that we all have each other to encourage and support each other. Scarlette
