Topic: 2 years out and disappointed in myself
I just reached my two year anniversary on 3/17 and have lost 133 pounds. I still need to drop about 90 pounds and have been at a stand still for about 6+ months and I'm feeling like a failure right now. I am just so disappointed with myself. I don't know what to do. Some days I feel like I'm eating too little and other days I feel like I'm eating incorrectly. I exercise at least 5 days a week. It's just so darn frustrating, I hope and pray I'm not done losing weight, I can't accept that, but i don't know what else to do. Help I'm ashamed to even tell people I've had the surgery because of how I still look. It looks like I need to have the surgery. Does anyone out there understand what I'm talking about and how I'm feeling. Any advice. Please!!!!!!!! I am grateful for what I've lost but I'm still obese. Emmy

I am eating about anything I want only small amounts. Sometimes the amounts I can tolerate scares me but I am not gaining weight so OK. I need to start getting in more protein and waster. I think that will help me loe somemore. Donna

Hi Donna You are not the heavy weight, I am!!! I started out at 331 and now weigh 234 I went from size 26/28 to an 18. I am happy and my kids say I look great. The doctor wants me to lose another 35 pounds and I just can't seem to do it. I'm 5'8". Sme days I feel like a failure. I have not gained any weight and I have weighed this much for a year. My 2 years will be March 29. Tell me what you eat in a day. I want a TT and I think that will take ogg close to 10 pounds or more. Pat

Can you believe we're coming up on 2 years!! Wow! I reached goal after 1 year. However.......recently, I have suffered a gain and am no longer successful at being at goal. I gained 9 pounds. I am finding that my appetite is raging. Little 1/2 sandwiches and such are not keeping me satisfied anymore. That scares the pants off me! What to do?? I should try that liquid diet myself, but I'm feeling very discouraged right now. I managed to get down to an 8, but I'd say I'm a solid 10 now. Congrats to all of you on your success!!! Congratulation on your anniversary day, too. I have three pounds that come and go. I call them The Big Three. Seems they are coming more than they are going these days, but I entend to get them back off and keep them off. It has been a rough weekend, and I have let sugar slip back into my life. I simply can not eat it. When I start eating sugar, I can not stop eating it and everything else. Sooo I am stopping the sugar stuff as of tonight. I'm here for you, too. Thanks for the email. Interesting we have the day.

Mary. Congratulations! It is a struggle, but you can do it! Today is my 2 year aniversary, too! I'm down 106 lbs. The scale went up for me over these past 5-6 months -- 14 lbs -- but I have lost 10 of those so I'm back on track! If you need someone to chat with, I'm here! Again, congrats!! Becky K.

Two years ago today I had wls. It has been a wonderful journey. I would do it over again in a minute. No regets. Having said this, I will have to admit. The old desire for food is coming back, and it scares me to death. I almost never eat sugar, but I have eaten a good bit the last few days. I will pick myself up again tomorrow and start over. 262/130 5'1" 62 years old
