hi all
Oh Linda, I am so sorry. I know what being scared like that feels like. I was told that I might have to have a hysterectomy also if the progesterone treatment did not work. I was one step from having cancer about 8 months before my surgery. In fact that is the reason I decided to have the surgery. I know you are scared and I thank God that they found it early since it is very treatable then. I will have you in my prayers if you need to chat please email me.
Margie
Thanks to all of you for your support. I breezed through the surgery with only a little temperature as a bump in the road that kept me in the hospital an extra day. The doctors are very optimistic they got everything but we'll know for sure by Wednesday.
I've decided that hospitals should have a dietary option for people who are post GBS surgery, since there are so many of us now. In order to have the appropriate choices, I was put on a "No Concentrated Sweets" diet. Since that's usually used for diabetics, I kept getting meals at weird times, snacks I can't eat, and things I DID ask for not given to me, since I already had too many carbs on my tray. I think I will try to work with the Dietary department of our hospital and see if I can get that changed.
Can't wait to see you when you get back home!!
I took a xanax the night before, whoo hoo, drugs the legal way!!
I slept and did not want to get up when the alarm went off, ha ha!
You will do lots of sleeping tomorrow.
Have a safe surgery, and prayers are going up for you now!!!
Jesus will be in the OR with you, and won't leave your side! what the first reply said, ditto!!
See ya soon sweetie, thinkin of ya!!
