Becky, my friend, You will be just fine. I also had trouble sleeping the night before- it's normal. I tried so hard to fall asleep but I couldn't. i finally thought "Well, duh, what does it matter? I am going to have plenty of sleep post-op, so I may as well stop fretting about it." Once I thought that and relaxed, I fell asleep within minutes. In the morning, you will be cradled in God's loving arms, rocked to a peaceful slumber, and when you awaken, you will be renewed and on your way to a healthier and happier lifestyle. As you get up and walk for the first time, God will be holding your elbow guiding you and your angels will support you with their wings. May you be at peace tonight knowing that we love you, we are praying for you, and we will be here for you on the other side- the losing side! God Bless, Christine

Linda- Hugs to you.... I had my hysterectomy just 7 1/2 months post op. I also ended up with bil mastecomies in Feb. Know that you are not alone. I found lots of wonderful websites for support (much like here) We call ourselves hystersisters I too tried for the tummy tuck at the same time but it was a no go... I ended up losing much more wt following the surgeries so I'm more ready for it now. I think when I have the 2nd phase of my breast reconstruction I'm gonna have the tummy done. You are in my prayers!
