1 year anniversary
Today is my anniversary of the new me. What a whirlwind experience it has been. I have gone from a bmi of 42 to 24.2. I feel great, my confidence is much improved compared to 1 year ago. I have more energy and most of all, I smile alot more these days. Only 20 more pounds to go and I will be at my ideal weight. It just doesn't get any better than this.....I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

I go in for my 1 year post op appt. on Friday which is the exact 1 year anniversary for me. I still have a few pounds to go to reach my goal. My doctors goal for me was 70 to 80% of the excess. Not sure what my ideal weight should be but here I am. In fact I think I am even beginning to like the new me. It's taken a long time to come to grips with all the changes.
