Mardi Gras wow moments

Well I went to Biloxi for Mardi gras this year. I grew up there soI wanted to go. I loaded up early with my sugar free drinks and got a great spot near the front of the parade route. I decided I would walk around a bit and next thing I knew I had walked the entire parade route. I mean the whole thing. When I went the last time I never wandered farther than the closest restroom. I saw alot of folks I knew and they all told me they couldn't believe how much I had changed since they last saw me. I had a blast got sunburned and am payong for it now but would do it again in a minute. Just goes to show that change is a goooooooooooooooood thing. Just had to share my moment.

What a great feeling! Very happy for you! Did you get any pics?? Have always wanted to go myself, but the opportunity has never presented itself. My oldest son will be hitting New Orleans over his spring break to assist in a habitat for humanity program. He's so excited and plans to hit all the "big" spots.
