It seem my weight lost has slowed down and it even seemed I keep going up and down with a few pounds is this normal. I keep thinking I'm about to gain the weight back I had lost a 141 pounds and now its 138 pounds has anyone experienced this and what did you do to stop it. My friends and family thinks I'm crazy so I just stop talking to them about and came here where people understand what I'm going through.......Help Jacinta

My weight loss has slowed down, and my weight goes from 124 to 128, but I figure I am not going to stress out about this considering how much I 've lost (125 pounds)... although I have to admit when the scale goes from 124 to 128, I sometimes start stressing out that I am going to gain the weight back... my sister who had the surgery about 5 years ago has stayed around 130 give or take a few pounds... I think being aware of what the scale reads and what your eating and exercising is key in maintaing... and as far as your family, they don't realize what you went through prior to the surgery and how important it is to keep the weight off... good luck to you ..

It is normal to bounce around a few pounds. We are not robots. We are human beings that fluctuate with fluids etc . . I weigh myself every day. I notice this on a daily basis. I am rarely the exact same weight. But I know what my 2 pound normal range is. I am trying to maintain a goal weight. 229/125 Good luck Jacinta. AND RELAX A LITTLE! Melanie

Hey Jacinta, My weight loss has been slowing down too and I do get discouraged too, but we have to do something different maybe more water, more excercise more protein, Also weighing measuring and keeping a journal will probably help. I am only saying this because I believe I need to take some accountability and do some of the above too! My weight has been fluctuating between 144-148, Also it depends on how often you are weighing yourself, I know I am weighing myself too much. So I think if we lay off the scale and make all the right choices we may not see all the fluctuation. Well a lot of people can relate, we always have to remember someone always has experienced the same things that we go through. Keep your head up high!!! xoxo Sheryl
