Solution for dry brittle appearing hair????????
Well, I'd mislead myself that I was getting enough protein to not have problems with my hair falling out and becoming dry & brittle.......not. I where my strawberry blonde (dyed of course) hair short and it looks like a dry colorless fright wig! Super conditioning shampoos & conditioners do not help. But I did find one think that DID help the appearance of my hair I spritz it with Mink oil!!!!!!! I used it on my dogs prior to going in the show ring to give their coats a glossy appearance. Figured if it worked for them....why not me!!!!!!! Well, it worked. I've been using it for a couple of weeks with no ill affects. It makes my hair soft, shiny, cuts the static and less brittle and dry appearing. ( Lots of animal grooming items have made it into human cosmetic bags.....mane & tail from the horse for skin & hair and bag balm form the cow boobs being chapped from cold weather. ) I bought mine at a dog show but I'm sure I could locate a source online if anybody is interested.

Well the spray works, but do you find yourself craving kibble?
I AM SORRY-I just couldn't resist. I am using Nioxin and it is working for me, but the cost is probably going to mean I can't buy it in the future. I would check with a beautician and see if they have any products like that, then go online or to Sally's to buy the item.
Good Luck

I have also been using the Nioxin and it is working well. But I also take Biotin 2500mg daily. This vitamin is supposed to help with skin, hair and nails. I have been lucky in the sense that my hair grew back after a month of losing it (month number 4) and it is growing in very pretty. I have never really had a "headful" of hair but what I have now is working for me. Good luck to you. I will need to try the mink oil too. I will try almost anything. Good luck to you!!!
